STRAIGHT TANK'ING COGTOOTH: ...............My friend RingThree has come up with a strategy to straight tank this past NM in La Vaule[S]. I think this is a winning strategy and alot of people who Kite this bish could use it. We literaly went from alot of deaths to absolutely no deaths on this NM. Streamlining....

................I realize my Blog has become too crazy looking and needs to be streamlined.....so I changed a few minor things but I still need to do more. Maybe I am feeling like when you get sick of your living room or bedroom and need to move it all around just for the sake of it looking different. I mean who wants to look at the same shit in and out every day. Well anyways I will be moving things around the next couple weeks and trying new ideas out. I'll start with a mew picture border.... how does this one look ?

Drk Emergency tank Gear: .........................Do not laugh.....and yes it does sound retarted...... but it is a fact ....that I have tanked many things as Drk/Sam or Drk/Nin. This happens mainly becuase once the tank or tanks have fallen..... someone needs to step up to the plate. Normaly all that is required is to keep hate and survive untill the tanks are unweakened and ready to retake the mantle. Drk/Sam gets plenty of tools to temporary help you hold this position, but It is from here that I want to take it too the next step by make a emergency macro set of Damage Mitigation Gear for my Drk. Currently I have my set up as follows: +18% Magic Defense Bonus - 5% Physical Damage Taken +18 Emnity Resist Stun Resist Bind Resist Gravity Resist Blind Resist Paralize +15 Resist to all Elemental Damage Sea: .........................This week I finally aquired my Thunder Torque which will increase my Weapon Skill damage for Spinning Slash, Ground Strike, Savage Blade (which I don't have yet), and I am pretty sure Kings Justice. I have noticed something paculiar while using the Thunder Torque with the Great Sword. The Weapon Skill Torque seems to have more of a damage increase on /Sam then as /Thf. It is my observation and my educated guess that this has to do with the unnatural critical you get from Sata. Seeing this makes me want to test a Sea Torque when I get one and see if there is any similar difference also. ..........................In Sea this week we took down Ixa'Drk twice but no cape for RingThree or Kallo........ Shanelle has been on a winning streak the past 2 weeks and got the cape. Next we battled Ixa'Mnk but no cape for me or Kallo. We also did Jailer of Justice 4 times with me as sole lotter for the next Justice Torque but alas..........SEA was being a greedy bish and I was Torqueless yet again. ...............check this out........as we were waiting for JOJ ??? to repop .....my friend OpalFlame was running around using these firework thingys and made them glitch out. ..............Somewhere doing one of the Sea runs Omoikitte died trying to save the LinkShell from a wipe and even though RingThree did try to save her from a Kallo TeaBagging ....... it was to late. The damage was already done. Limbus: .................We did both a Ultima and a Omega since my last Blog update. The Omega fight kicked ass but The Ultima fight was a little sloppy. Towards the end Izman was tanking like a truck. Congrats on the drops to my friends and a special congrats to my friend Aniero who so very desperately needing those Homam Hands. Comments Please: ..................Who is the best DRK or your most favorite Drk on the Odin Server and why?.....I am looking forward to talking towards other Drk's that people think are good players. It is a very good way to improve one self....... and one can never stop improving. The reason I asked only for the Odin Server is because I see other jobs doing job only events....like SMN or BLM only events....... I think Drk has evolved enough in this game that we could possible do a Drk only event. The only way to make that happen is take the 1st step and thats to start the talk going........................................... anyway I am getting way ahead of myself. Parse this!

..........Let me tell it to you straight! I do not like parse'ng and I have my own reasons. Many people do not understand that parse'ngs main purpose is to use it as a tool to make a determination in which way you are getting the best DPS by changing something with your character. That could be gear, that could be a subjob, a weapon or anything .........or any combonation of things. However most people don't use it for this. Instead they use it to measure their penis size. Don't get me wrong this is ok if it's between friends for the fun of it...I actualy enjoy it when RingThree anounces that he will be parse'ng in Einherjar events..... but I will say that it is highly unfair that other people parse and only anounced it at the end of the battle. Why is that unfair you may ask? ...........There are many things that you can do to increase your parse in battle. The most important one is changing your battle target to the next mob at the last second of the current mobs HP before it dies. This gets rid of the time wasted of putting away your weapon, waiting for the designed ingame delay of re-engage'ng the next mob, and then waiting for the animation to redraw out your weapon. If you do not know someone is parse'ng and you are not doing this ..........but they are...... then they will be way ahead of you at the end parse result. ...........The next common way to increase your parse is to not use your specific job ability/spells that do not help you increase you melee output. These are actually parse'ng time sinks. What do I mean? I'll use Drk as a example. All my spells (especially Stun) and abilities like Weapon Bash do not create as much or any damage at all compared to just melee'ng and are waste'ng precious time in your parse...... Mean while the H2H Monk right next to you is pounding away the mobs face in ....increasing his percentage of the parse. I don't like this. I am a Drk. I am needed to Stun and I use every ability I have at my disposal in every battle. Mean while the War next to you (who the entire battle was spamming King's Justice with Berserk on to the hilt)....... was like "Man.... I am da Master with da top Parse wooooooooooooot". ...........This leads me to my other complaint..... Drk's are so good at creating hate .......that Nin's sub Drk to get maximum hate. Do you know how hard it is for a Drk to be able to use his 2 main abilities like Last Resort and Soul Eater at all in a battle and not pull hate and die? It takes alot of skill. Mean While the Drg right next to you is going full out with his Melee abilities and Super Jumping his hate away. ............Anyway like I said.... I don't like parse'ng........and thanks to my friend Clubber I realize that people are always parse'ng against me .... no matter where I go........LMAO .......I now have the constant fear that someone will /point at me and say "Your penis is smaller then mine" .....then they will wip out their ....................errr... they will wip out the parse to try and prove it. It's as if they are seeking to get a new Final Fantasy in game Title "I out parsed Jess ZOMG". Kind of like how Kallo has a new title "I killed Jess with my army of Versus charmed LinkShell members but I stabbled him with my Kallo'ness for the last hit" .... LMAO ..............I don't want to even get into the Parse'ng chat log versus filters versus allaince members out of range issue. .......Remember...... I said I do not like parse'ng. I never said that I hate parse'ng. I actually parse really good from what I am told. I can not tell because I am on X-Box 360. All I ask that if you want to parse against me then you anounce it ahead of time and let's do it only for some fun. Do not compare your DPS to my DPS directly thinking it's a show of someone's in game skill or manlyness........or I will wip out my manlyness ................err skill and you don't want that. Melee at Kirin

............I have decided to write this post in hopes that people would get something out of it and not get disgruntled or irate. so here goes ..... Omoikitte>> Melee we are going to need you to maximize your damage here Omoikitte>> Melee try to be smart here .............What we have here is a contridiction. I mean how can you be smart and at the same time maximize damage? Contrary to popular belief I am very good at balance'ing this. I can raise my damage/hate up to just below the tanks in a LinkShell event and maintain it there. This means if you are parse'ing more then me you will probably die..... /cough Clubber LMAO. My proof is as soon as both tanks went down Kirin turned to me next. This means I am 3rd in the hate list. This is something melee's should be aiming at as a goal for their respected DD job. This also allows me to pull hate off the tanks when or if needed at anytime. I keep a large xp buffer so I can afford to die many times but I will not die on purpose if it will mean the loss of a event to the Linkshell......and yes I die....alot ;p Omoikitte>> (insert DD name here) please do not stand behind the tank it is not safe ................Many times a NM has different AOE ranged moves and some are coneal. This means if the tank is at the top of the hate list and you are behind him you are in the coneal damage range...... you are going to die.....or sponge the MP pool. Now...........that may sound rather mundane because most people understand this concept........ but for some DD's they forget this when they are dishing out the damage. This is why you always see me moving around the NM especially when hate is flip flopping all over the place. This brings me to my last point. Listen to your leaders they general know what they are doing and have the forsight to see you making a mistake that they have probably seen for the 50,000 freak'n time. ............I leave it at that.......read the above post 10 times and absorb it into your skills ...then kill a NM and see me in the morning..... The Docter is out!
