STUFF AND MORE STUFF !

....................OK not much of a post here just really a recap of STUFF in game...... 1) LIMBUS: killed Omega .......yet again...... yes we pretty much kill it so fast that we farm for 20 minutes of the 30 given for the fight. 2) SEA: JOL (x2) ..........awesomely a Torque dropped and it went to Highlife .... congrats WOOOOOOOOOOOOT .....also killed JOL , but no Torque...... Novio earring for DarkDawn and a Novia earring for me. Congrats WOOOOOOOOOOOT. 3) SALVAGE: Johyo completes his Morgans body after going 1/51 for the 35 body pc.... of coarse it drops for him a week after he gave up and sold his Imperial Wootz Ingot x12..... and now he had to buy them back again ..... LMAO Also EternalPain who doesn't really play much at all anymore, due to his very crazy Real Life stuff ... well he finally got his 1st completed item from Salvage which will be the Morgans Hands tommorrow ;) WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT. 4) SKY: Kirin (x2) .....not sure if I already posted it but I finally got my Crimson Legs........ yea I think I did..........LMAO ............... but I am so happy with them ...fuck it ... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT 5) EINHERJAR: We are now on tier 2 as of tonight. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT. .......................and now on with the PICS........ also note there are 2 pics from AGANA...... who wanted a AGANA PAWNS section. Dark Seal

.............OK ...... there are alot of tests and theories on Magic Skill, Magic Acc, and Magic Attack Bonuses. Alot of people claim that having over 320 of any Magic skill will grant you less of a return or shall I say less of a full point of skill..... (due to a mathamatical curve in the advanced math formulas that SE seem to like to use in Final Fantasy XI). Thus they also claim that based on this Magic Skill curve (and what job/ Magic Skill that you are using) .... you are better off with Magic Acc and/or Int/Mnd Mods to maximize your effecientcy. I am not gonna to get into these craptasticular theories because as a Drk I am not a true mage. Shit, I am not even a half of a mage. However I always use my magic skills alot and have different Macro builds based specifically around for them. ..............this is where Dark Seal fits in ....or sorta doesn't fit in. What I mean is having a Dark Magic skill build that is very high and coupled with a bunch of Magic Acc, doesn't allow me to see a difference when I use the ability Dark Seal. Many times it feels like it is a useless ability to me because of this. Yes, I do like it and try to use it whenever I can. However, I have discovered a new trick for it that many Blm's may already know...... based on the fact that it is very similar to their own Elemental Seal ability. .............the other day while I was in a T-10 Hydra battle..... the Mini-HNM used that Physical Damage Block move right at it's last bit of HP that it had left and we did not have any Blm's to nuke it in this set up. I did know that Drain and Drain II worked very well in getting us through this Monster's ability the entire fight. However I was Double Weakened at this point and as any Blm will tell you ......that means any Damage Spells that you use is going to do shit in this situation. However I used DarkSeal and killed it with just under a 400 Drain II. Now this may not be a new idea to some of you......... but for a Drk....... it was a new concept for me. By posting this simple trick it may add a little bit more to your skillz as a Drk. It is just one of those things that you never get to put 2 to 2 together to ever notice. This time I did take notice that it worked very well as I thought it through in this situation. This is why I think it is importany enough to validate a post on my Blog. ;) .............in other news I did my normal Salvage, Sky, Sea, Limbus, Assault, and Eijnhart Events .... I will just post for your veiwing pleasure some of the pics. Oh almost forgot .....we did almost lose a Beseiged Saturday when all the Generals died. This was the 1st time I actually got into that sealed room before. So I took a pic of me standing next to the funky looking Candy-essence-Awhatcha-macallit-thingy-mobob.

.....................Well a friend of mine who I know back from the Critical LS days.............. joined the Versus LS today. She is a very friendly person and I am sure it will benefit all of us and add to the zannyness that is Versus. ;P Welcome to Versus LS Opalflame ;) ......................dammmm Izman gets lots of love from everyone in this game.... normally it's just the men thought O.o ...................yup it's a Kirin X2 Sunday. With the 1st kill dropping crap....I mean crap: Cloth, Ignot, and 2 Wind Crystals. The second Kirin drops were ok but it finally netted me a W.Legs .... I do mean finally...... because I have been trying to get one of these legs for what feels like years and I tend to pass lotting on stuff alot so lately ....but today ....I am happy ;) ~BAM ..................Next ............I was on my way to get my W.Legs uncursed after Sky and turn turn them into Crimson Cuisses..... but I had to Warp to Whitegate to help my friend Ravax get his last T-10 Assault finished for his Captain Rank'age . The RemnantBrave team consisted of Mav(PLD/NIN), Ravax(PLD), LeonBelmont(BRD), Jess(DRK/THF), Agana(BLU), and Kalua(mage type job). It was a very fun fight and from what I was told it was the toughest of the T-10's and we almost lost. Right smack in the beginning Ravax went down....... so we were down 1 tank already. Meaning the rest of us had to upgrade from our A game to our A+ game. I managed to time my stuns for a majority of the fight to either help Mav get shadows up or keep him from dieing thus letting the healers get his HP back up. I even stunned a good Gates of Doom at the end when we definetly needed it. at the last percentage of this Cerebus cheap knock-off's HP.... Mav went down......... so now we had no tanks and I only had like 238 HP left! I was now praying to get my Drain Spikes up ....which was a bad idea .....(because it aint gonna help me if I get 1-shoted)...... somewhere.... somehow ....the game let me proc a Double Attack ....FTW. I am pretty sure It would have died anyway because Agana had 2 DOT's on it but my DA took off about 500 damage...... so anyway who cares ....we WON ~BAM Ravax was so happy.....well I won't explain it ..... I'll just put his 3 lines of text in my Blog .... so that I can boost my ego skill.... lmao Ravax>> Jess Ravax>> Ftw Ravax>> as usual /em ego skills up .5 ........................and then I continued on with my journey to Sandy ,to complete my Crimson Cuisses. These babies will definutely help me as Drk/Sam in the many times I have to temporary tank kite. Anyone who laughs at that idea...... defintely is ignorant on how well a Drk/Sam can fit into that role and hasn't seen it executed correctly......... or hasn't played in FFXI with me long enough.

SE got me again .....

..............................so for the 1st time in 8 years I have changed my Checking account from one bank to another. What does this have to do with Final Fantasy XI.....well it has to do with paying that monthly service charge.....in with the new and out with the old Visa check bank cards. However to my suprise when I did this on July 23rd I was told from my new bank to expect my new card in 10 days via snail-mail. ..............................As we got closer to the end of the month and still no card to be seen in my mail box..... SE decides to have a 2-part, 3 day "Registration Server Maintenece" from July 31st to August 2nd. I mean Is it me or is this the 1st time they decided to do this type of maintenece longer then 1 day? Either way it had to be the same month that I decide to change banks! ..............................Well... on July 31st I finally got my card and I very quickly went to activate it, trying to beat the start of the maintenence. However, what do you know..... I couldn't activate it. I now had to wait untill I got another peice of mail with my temperary pin code. Which of coarse came in Saturday's mail. ..............................And there you have it ........ it is Saturday night/ Sunday morning early AM and I am now back online. I made it back for a Remnant Brave LS Salvage run and also for Sunday's Versus LS events. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. See ya online ~BAM
