Ares's Set is now 14/15 !!! (will be 15/15 this week)

.....................................Soooo the other day I logged out in Aht Whitegate and could not log back in. I have no issues with this on any of my mules that are scattered about Vana'diel. WTF .... what the hell is going on. Well I thought about this for a second. Recently I have noticed the server has surged in the past year to 5-6k people on the Odin server ......ALL THE TIME. Soooo .........from my mule....... I asked my friend Blaize to check out how many people were in the Aht Whitegate area. My hunch was right ...about 750-ish people. Another friend of mine even told me that there was a GM posting messages to leave the area because it was over crowded. Part of the blame I think has to go to the new in game event that has everyone grouping together and jumping around as Chiquos. Another reason I seems to be the amount of Server Transfers coming to Odin despite it being overcrowded anyway. I also had the same issue logging in this morning. I am thinking about just switching back to Bastok for home point. I also don't think people should be so harsh and negative towards server transfers despite thiese issues because I know 2 personaly that are really good players and really cool people. .............................Next....... looks like my friend NinjaFox picked up a new wife. Either that or he is being stalked. ...........................Heres my friend Omoikitte with her full set of Ares's gear. As of last night I am now 14/15 for the set with only a lvl-15 Hands pc left to get to complete it. Which requires a dedicated run just to get it. My friend Ravax offered to do it today but I have Versus LS events and I can wait 'till Thursday's 2nd run. I just sold my Dusk hands towards the Gil for the Synthesis items for it and I should be able to have the Gil by tonight or tommorrow night. Then all that is left to do is farm for 2.5 Mil to get the head pc made. Then of coarse I am gonna have to farm back the Gil to reget my Dusk hands and feet. After this week RemnantBrave will have it's 1st 15/15 person set.........with more to come... ~BAM ..........................Hi SerialX is the floor cold in Salvage ? ............................ooops almost forgot....... in Limbus we are almost ready for 2 more Omega's battles inwhich I am hoping to get the Homam Body for my Multi-hit Weapon Skill builds. Then we will be switching to Temendos to get our mages some nice shiny new gears. I also managed to snag the items for Drg AF+1 and Sam Af+1 ........... so in a few weeks I should be able to get my 3rd Drg and 2nd Sam AF+1 items once I grab the other pcs needed. Then atlast ........in Sea we also got a Ixa'Mnk Cape and Anjannette won the lot.... CONGRATS ;) ................................see ya soon in full Ares's online ~BAM

The 10,000'TH Click !

................Howdy Blog readers. Thank you for helping my Blog reach it's 10,000TH click. Well actually........... it is really much higher then that. I have only been counting since I messed up awhile ago and deleted my Blog. Which forced me to restart my Blog from scratch. Anyways I only have a small update today on this weeks in game events and such. ................First off I want with my friend Izman out to kill a few Colibri so that he could test the BraveGrip out as War/Sam with his GreatAxe. He agrees that the BraveGrip is the best grip for War/Thf, Drk/Thf, and probably Sam/Thf as well. I was also thinking for Blu/Thf for CannonBall builds also. Anyway Izman is gonna work on getting a BravGrip now too. ................Next in Versus we did a Alastor run and we started late for a few reasons. I my self had to take my son to soccer practice which is now every Thurssay 5-6 P.M. EST. Congrats to Hiryo and Ringthree on their new RostrumPump Boot'ies. .................Next was a Limbus run ......which was the exact same run that we had on Monday. Which is cool to me because this particular run is really fun. On Mondays run..... I Stun'd every "Whirl of Rage" on the last floors Weapon Mobs. While on Thursday ..... they cheated and got one off while I was typing and bragging how I did it again. It's ok I gave some payback on the MegaBoss Weapon Mob with a nice HP dropping SpiralHell. The sad thing is because my Salvage LinkShell RemnantBrave switched their Fridays runs to Thursdays...... I ended up missing both runs because we were running late in Versus. Normally Fridays I had no events which made it a great for Salvage. None the less ....I will find balance. ........................Last we did some Salvage runs. I was impressed with how each run the LinkShell improves but I was less impressed with stingy Bhaflau Remnant's Reactionary Ramparts NM pops.

It could have meaning from todays small update.... because we can now get Salvage Permits more then once a day........or It could mean that it is now Fall and alot of LinkShell members in alot of Linkshells leave or take a break for school. Class "Limbus-101": ............................Here's DarkDawn the Viking and Kallo the Ladies Killer ....chilli'n with me at the NPC Sagheera before the Versus Limbus run. DarkDawn just got DRK to 75 making that 10 75's now. Impressive. Slayor wants to know why she still isn't your #1 Kallo !!!! Class "Sea-101": .............................Jailer of Fortitude or you can call him what I do .... Jailer of Cahoonies. Anyway....... this is a PLD NM and we killed it twice last night netting Coborn a Fortiutude Torque. Yes I have yet to get a Torque from Sea but I have a priority on a Justice so I can wait till it drops...... and Prudence Torque will drop one day soon also........hopefully LMAO /cry. Also ...one of the things I wanted to say here is that doing melee damage on this NM sucks ass and as a Drk you are better off using your Magic Macro gear set. What you can expect damage wise as a Drk here is as follows (depending on JOF's element and I am using rounded numbers here): Thunder II....................200 damage Blizzard II......................100 damage Drain..............................200 damage Drain II..........................400 damage Bio II..............................tick damage Now I also used a few Absorb-Vit's and though I didn't die in both fights.... I did pull hate a bunch of times from spell damage only. I even survived a 1668 Vorpal from JOF ....luckily for me I it was from pulling hate from Drain II and I still had almost 200 HP left. Also remeber just because you have full HP and use Drain it shows up in your chat Log as o HP drained ...it doesn't mean you didn't take any HP off a Mob. It only means that your HP is already full and you can't absorb anymore. If you don't believe me test it yourself. It's a easy test. With full HP use a Drain on a mob that has a small enough HP gauge that you can see move from damage easily. It will show 0 HP Absorbed but you will see the Mob's HP move down as if it was receiving damage. ............................Almost forgot.................I went last night to Sea as a Drk/Thf and was gonna test out more of the Brave Grip in Sata WS's for end game events......but the more people you add to the alliance the harder it is to do these tests. ..................................so thus concludes your entertainment ...errr educatement for the day. Drk/Thf: Brave Grip VS Axe grip VS Pole Grip

.............. ok I know what my Blog title says, but I want to get 1 thing out of the way.... The Axe grip is nice for Drk ws's cause of the STR ......but what we really want to get down to is the meat and potatoes.... +2% DA vs Increase crit Hit Damage ! I have honestly been waiting for this Brave Grip to appear on the server for past 4 months...and now it has been found and in the AH. It apears to come form a campaigne OP thingy. And it went from 1 Mil ....to what I paid for it ....299k ( I had to sell my War's Dusk feet) and is now back to 500k/1 Mil. I have done some small tests today and it dows exactly what I thought it would. It added about +20 damage on my Crits for both GS and Scythe on Too weak Tabar Beaks and Skinks in SauraM. ........with or with out food. lets say if you normally critical on scythe for 344 you may get a 368 as a example. However ....what I want to talk about is ..... what it does do for /Thf.............. it adds about 100-200 extra damage to a WS. I used this as a range for both GS and Scythe and for 100-300 TP for the top 2 Weapon Skills for both weapons. I fiqured a nice round number would help you think if about how good it is or how not good it is. ...............Now this is where I want your attention....... a extra 100 to 200 damge per Weapon skill on a Brave Grip is > then the extra 2% DA from a Pole Grip. It is exactly as I thought it would be .... nothing more nothing less. Feel free to test it out and e-mail me your info at Sinfulplayerx@gmail.com.

I have only edited it because it is from a forums page and with out seeing other peoples posts..... some lines might have made no sense. By the way the forum topic that this is from was called "HELP !!!!!!!!" This all began on a Hot Friday.....August 9th. Thu Sep 04, 2008 9:35 pm HELP !!!!!!! I am being held hostage by Verizon .... Well my internet is. I had my phone shut off and the dum ass company shut my internet off also. I am currently using my Black Berry cell phone to text this on the forums while I take my 7 year old son to soccer practice. I have already been on the phone with these ass's for an hour and all they do is put me on hold and switch me to different departments. After 5 times of this happening I finally hung up because my cell is almost dead. Anyhow whoever reads this please inform Omoikitte and Ring3 about my situation and it may be 1 more day or I may need to change ISP's entirely... Which will take longer. I will be calling these idiots again from work tommorrow. (I also had Eternalpain /tell Ravax and Mav for me) Fri Sep 05, 2008 3:30 pm I am currently on the phone with them again for the last hour at work.... They have it set up as a Sept 12th set up for a buisness fiber-optics line....WTF !!!!!!!!!!! Now it is too late and I have to wait till Monday for them to set up the phone. By then they will have messed up my DSL connection in the process.... I am calling it now. Fiqures update is Monday too and I am missing all my game events. Sep 10, 2008 5:29 pm Well Verizon told me that I had to cancel my DSL and it will take 24 hours to do so .... Then I would have to make a new DSL order because Verizon sucks and they can't just repair it. Well instead of 24 hours it is taking 3 days.... They lied again. Then another Verizon person told me he would call me back .... of coarse he never did (even thou he has 3 contact phone numbers to get a hold of me). So........... I just had them cancel my phone and do a direct DSL line that should be up by the 18th. Which would make it all in all ....21 days in total.... That's if it's not conjuncted with any more issues. ..... Ironically Verizon calls a direct DSL line a "Dry Lube Line" .... NO ! I am not making that up and that's exactly how I feel ....
