ARES'S GEAR 11/15 ;)

..................a picture is worth a thousand words .......as here I am finally completing my 2nd Salvage gear. I am now 11/15 for the complete Ares set. This mob was literally killed like 5 secs before the 10 second timer with one of the tanks Ravax eating some dust at the same time. SOMEHOW yes SOMEHOW people passed and we kicked Ravax from the allaince and I lotted and it went to me.......... tommorrow I get to pick my new pants up after Jap midnight. This is all I will post for tonight seeing how I missed 2 Kirin burns yesterday and a Omega run because I had a RL meeting in the towns Municipality building. ~BAM WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

.....................OK I've been a little busy lately with work...... so instead of a much needed Blog post......... instead I have made a new DARK animation for my Blog. Kudos to the person who can find where I borrowed the letter designs from. Anyway I have it at maximum size for everyone to preview on top of my Blog .......but It is really made to be a kind of seperation border for the crap on my Blog's right hand side. After a few weeks I will remove the top preview Animation and leave only the small ones on the right. Anyways time for a <Screw Driver> and to log onto the game for a Dynamisis-Juno run. ~BAM

The Adventure's Of SMOOTHIE ! (....and the SE scam ?)

...............................OK by now all of you are in the know about the "Mog Bannanza" lottery and how you need a level 5 character to get up to 10 picks. Then today they release a new XP ring. This is looking more and more like a way for SE to get more of the all mighty dollar from our wallets. However I still like the idea of a lottery and I also welcome a new XP ring. However where do I draw the line. Do I max out the number of mules or do just nothing. Currently I have 5 characters in all....4 of which are mules in each city. So I thought I'll just level 2 mules to level 5 and then have 4 chances to win. This way I don't add to the money I pay SE every month. Any way I thought I'd make a little story of one of my mules as thru the eyes of a new adventurer. (BELOW) Hey looky I'm a big hairy Galka minus a sex organ in the land of the tiny tiny midgets with a few Mantra friends. (BELOW) Here is my first enemy....a Giant Bumble Bee.......oh so scary... (BELOW) As I level my first job MNK, I use a good old foot stomp'n on this weed with legs monster... (BELOW) The guards told me about these fierce Rabbit enemy's ..... It ate my carrots and now it's gonna eat me..... >< (BELOW) Then out of nowhere a evil Beastman appeared........so I had to "Hundred Fist" his ass to the ground ..... (BELOW) At last I have reached Level-5 and it is time to log off for now....... stay tuned for a PART-2 in a future Blog entry........ ok I know this post was sad .... but I know there are alot of people maxing there Mules and getting them to level-5. ......see ya again ~BAM

FIGHTING AGAINST THE HERD MENTALITY ....

...................... you see it in the game everyday. Person "A" wears equipment "X" because everyone else does................ so it must be good right? Do I even have to answer that? There is a term that we use for the correct way in which to equip your character. It is called a "Build" . It is the best way to maximize the effeciency of your gear. I know alot of people reading this already know this basic concept. BUT..... there are still a good amount of people who for some reason lack the cognative comprehensable skillz to understand this. Either that or they do not think they need to utilize this idea. A endgame player will use several different builds and then switch them on the fly with a /equip macro or macros. For DRK.... I use Dark Magic, Accuracy, TP, and WS gear macros. These all very slightly based on what sub I am using and then very again depending on what weapon I am using. These all switch 12 peices of gear for every "Build" swap. I also use 5 lines of gear switches for Elemental and Enfeebling Magics. Do not laugh at my Lol-Elemental Gear Build because once SE updates DRKs to get better Elemental spells.... then all the rest of the DRK's will be doing this too. Maybe the next post I will start talking about my gears builds. Anyway on a lighter note we got 2/4 H2H Torque drops in Sea, I will be getting my 5th pc of WAR AF+1 on Sunday to complete the set, and I got a few more Merits. So..... on with this weeks Pics. (BELOW) Armored Chariot ....... he will drop my Ares Boots one of these days.... ;P (BELOW) A few friends of mine allowed me to do the last 5 floors on Nyzul Isle and both runs we kicked ass. ..............OK about 6:30 AM yesterday I got a call to be activated for CERT . I couldn't volunteer my time because I had to go to work. As I got this call I could hear the helicopters buzzing above my house. This incident was really close to my home and actually it made the TV channel Fox-5 News. Route 287 northbound were shut down after a tractor-trailer carrying 44,000 pounds of hazardous material overturned Wednesday morning. Some of the chemical spilled onto the roadway and leaked into storm drains, police said.
