ZENI NM SYSTEM: .............let me get this out of the way..... The charts are to big for my blog forceing me to make a link to my photobucket account. In case you wanted a link to the person who created these charts and their Blog so you can see it as it gets updated I will post that here also: Maybe it's a wild dragon chase anyways (Blog) BESEIGED: .................yes it is true.....during Beseiged I used Absorb-TP and my log said "Jess absorbs 958-TP off of the Merrow no.15" .....I went from 12 TP to 300 TP in a instant. Now a friend off mine RingThree said it is possible that the mob had that much TP because of like 100 people hitting it at the same time and I was thinking along that line also.........but let me ask you this. Do you know of anyone saying or posting anything that this has happened before? I know I never even heard off it either...... so I am leaning more towards the game fudged up between it being super super lagy in Beseiged and also that it probably press's the games servers to their limits. MERITS: ..................ok I'm at 284 now and about 5.5 Mertits away from recapping Drk since the last update. This includes Desperate Blows at 5/5. ARES'S SOLLERETS & 12/15 ARES'S PCS: ...............yes finally last night after like 5 times AC dropped my LVL-25 Ares's Sollerets pc. ......so today after work I will be picking up my Ares's Sollerets which puts me at 12/15 pcs all together. We also did a second run and faught one of the NM's Deviate Bhoot that drops my LVL-35 Ares's Mask pc. If it had dropped it would have finaly completed my Ares's Mask but it was a greedy Bastard..... "MAV>> ....I hate that NM" on a lighter note I got to tank as Drk/Sam on AC when both tanks went down from a few good Magic Mortars (this was earlier in the week on different AC run and not last nights). Some of you people might think that I sound crazy but between Stun and Weapon Bash I did manage to stop a few of it's TP moves and having 1500+HP, Third eye + Seigen, a few consumable Salvage items, and some help from the Mages..... I was able to hold it down untill both Tanks where unweakened and back up and ready to rumble. JOH: .................in Sea we spammed a bunch of IX'as, 2 Prudence's, and 3 Jailor Of Hope's in the past 2 weeks but no Torques dropped. Still lots of fun though. LIMBUS: .............. did a few runs here netting me my 1st SAM AF+1 Saotome Kabuto head gear and another Ultima win. I <3 those Ultima fights. .......and once again my X-BOX froze making me loose most my pics...so here are a few ....and I mean a few:

NEW NM SYSTEM:

(stolen from a forum ....yes someone else did the work and I am passing on the information....thankyou Drexis from Alla) Getting Started: To get zeni, you have to take pictures of mobs, just like in Pankration. Grab some imperial coins (a couple gold pieces will go a LONG way), and head to The Pit. When you zone in, look left and talk to the guy with his hands down his trousers (Zandjarl). Trade him your coins for jettons, the Pankration currency. Now talk to him, browse his wares, and select 2 jetton items. Buy a soul-trapper, and a couple stacks of soul plates. You'll need to buy a new soul-trapper after each trip, so try not to forget. Picking Your Target Now that you have a camera and frames, you need to know what to take pictures of. Head to Whitegate, near the Al Zhabi zone, and talk to Sanraku, then Ryo. Ask Ryo what the current subject of Sanraku's interest his, and he'll give you a mob type. These seem to change on a random or timed basis (idk yet why it changes), but so far it's been about once every 2 hours or so. Now, find the highest level version of that mob you can think of that type you can handle holding solo (or with your group, if you're bringin' friends), and that will be your target. Taking Pictures Head to the zone with your target in it, and equip your soul-trapper in the ranged slot. Now, put your soul plates in the ammo slot. To take a picture, use the soul-trapper from your inventory. Once all the charges are used up, toss it, and head back to the Pankration NPC for a new one. Likewise, when you run out of plates, you can buy more from him. Find your mob, and start snapping! See below for tips on how to get the most points for your pictures though! Turning Them In After you've got your pictures, head back to Whitegate and trade them to Sanraku to see how many points you got. You can trade them to Ryo first if you want to know how many zeni they are worth beforehand. The limit is 10 soul plates traded to Sanraku per game day. Also, don't forget a new camera! Making the Most of Your 10 As I said, you can only turn in ten pictures per game day. Obviously then, you want to make them good ones. Here are the things I have found to increase the number of points you get for each picture: -Low HP. The lower the mob's HP%, the more points you will get. -Claim. Taking pictures of a mob that is CFHed or claimed to someone else will get you very low points. Make sure your party has claim on your mob. -Front. Stand in front of the mob, so it's facing you. -Lock. Lock target on it so that it is centered in the frame. -Level. High level mobs give higher points. -Distance. Stand about 3 feet away (if using distance plug-in), or maximum melee range (if not) for just the right distance. -I have not found any difference between NQ and HQ camera, and NQ and HQ plates. HQ camera just seems to let you take more pictures before needing a new one, but it's so many jettons that I don't think it's worth it. -Sleeping the mob helps a ton, both in keeping it facing one direction so you can stand in front, and in keeping it off you while you wait for the 1 minute cool down on your Soul -Trapper. A sleeper makes an enormous difference, so bring one if at all possible! Getting Your Pop Item Talk to Sanraku and ask about the monsters. He will list all of the NMs by name. Select an NM and he will tell you how many zeni it costs for the pop item. This cost seems to go down by 100 per gameday, and up by 100 whenever someone buys one (?). Once you have enough points, buy the information, and you'll get a pop item specific to that NM. There is also an option about information about the inlet. If you pay the 500 points, you get a salt item. This allows you to access the previously un-travelable islets via the stone slabs. The salt is lost when you teleport out there, and each person needs a salt to get there. There is only a ??? on the islets. They are used to pop the new Hydra/Cerberus/Khimaira NMs, according to the hints in the ??? text and the data-mined pop items. The islet is instanced too; only people in your party can travel out there once you've "reserved" it, similar to how the sky God islands are when the God is popped. Finding the ??? New ???s can be found all over ToAU areas. These are the new NM pop spots, and each gives a hint to the pop item when examined. Gather your group up, and when you're ready, pop the NM by having one person trade their item. The other people in the group do not need the item to participate in the fight. Kill the NM, and it will drop one rare/ex item specific to that NM 100% of the time, plus a <100% chance of dropping one or more of the new armor/weapon/items. Whoever traded the pop item should probably get the rare/ex item for fairness, but that's up to your group. Here are the NMs: Tier 1 Vulpange (Puk) - Karura Hachigane Chamrosh (Colibri) - Erato's Cape and Dragoon's Earring Cheese Horder Gigiroon (Qiqirn) - Armadillo Cuisses, Beast Slayer Brass Borer (Wamouracampa) - Ritterhenzes, Lion Tamer Claret (Clot) - Kerykeion Ob (Automaton) - Coiler, Attuner, Guignol Earring Velionis (Skeleton) - ? Lil' Apkallu (Apkallu) - Numerist Pumps Chigre (Chigoe) - ? Tier 2 Antantaboga (Dragon) - ? Reacton (Bomb) - ? Dextrose (Flan) - ? Iriri Samariri (Poroggo) - ? Iriz Ima (Marid) - ? Lividroot Amooshah (Malboro) - ? Now what? Enjoy your new gear, if you got any. You can head back to Whitegate and trade the 100% drop to Sanraku for a key item. This key item gives you access to harder NMs that cost more points. More info on them once I've tried ;)

Bhaflau Remnants: ................I am here to confirm RingThree's Theory that killing the West Mini-Archaic Chariot on the 4th floor before the boss does effects LBC's Defense and Magic Resists. We killed it along with the 10/10 Gears and it made LBC a joke. During the LBC battle the Blm's were spamming me tells that they were doing good damage on it and the Tanks were laughing as we killed it in probably under 7 minutes. Arrapago Remnants: ............there seems to be some confusion into how to pop the Archiac Rampart at the very starting hallway. This Archiac Rampart calls for the reinforcement NM Sabotender Maestro. I beleive it is a randomly picked Merrow or Lamia that when killed triggers this to pop. Most of the time we tend to kill all the Lamia and Merrows on this floor anyway so it is not like we go out of the way for it. Thus this Archiac Rampart is always up for us. It is unknown to me whether this NM Sabotender Maestro drops any gear and I may be wrong but I am pretty sure one of our runs it did drop a peice of gear. I am going to have to ask Ravax to reconfirm that. Death Floor: .....you guys know where this floor is... it's the floor where the Gears link-roam the entire floor like sentries and you have to somehow get the 4 Archiac Ramparts to the only room that is safe (the room you spawn into from last floor). Any way I managed to get 1 of them down to 1% as Drk/Sam while being hit by it and 2 of it's spawn mobs. Notice the death-aga around me and laugh at this crazy floor. Sea Action: ........................in other news in Versus LS we killed JOT and IXaDrk. No cape or torque drop but Hellzfury and Potpressure did a good job leading this run and so did the rest of the LS. ......also Izman likes bannanas ;P

(BELOW) .......lately Omoikitte has been coming more as DRG instead of WHM to LS Versus events. (BELOW) Here we are Doll-burning in the hallway to get Despot to pop but someone somehow agroes like 10 dolls at once. (BELOW) Here's LS RemnantBrave fighting another Salvage boss. I am happy to say that we have been kicking alot of ass lately in Salvage. (BELOW) Just in case you weren't sure this was Dynamisis here's the prerquisite wipe picture from a Nin or Smn 2 hour........ (BELOW) Here I was skilling up my Sword skill with Tezmania and I went AFK to come back to a dead AFK Tezmania ....LMAO (BELOW) Another Experience party ....this one is on that small island with all the Imps and Soulflayers....Ravax likes this area for some reason....... I didn't like it especially after someone said "Hey let's roam" >< (BELOW) Here's my wedding outfit for Arilayne's wedding.... /cough that I missed because of a Salvage run making me late.......anyways who says Drk's have all dark colored gear O.o (BELOW) Ravax asked me to come Drk/Nin to help co-tank some stuff in Salvage .... meanwhile he DC'd like 22 times and it was more like he was co-tanking .... LMAO .... can't wait for his remark on that ;) (BELOW) This is a Mav strategy on LAC. Basically you have a SMN let one of it's Avatars to tank LAC with the two regular tanks and it can't even be charmed errrrr brainjacked... thus alot times it allows LAC to waist most of it's brainjacks on it. Sometimes it even works well enough to get the 2 charmed tanks to agro it also. (BELOW) Arilayne's and Walrus's wedding......errrr after the wedding ;P That's it for now.......... just a wall of pictures...... maybe next post will have something interesting..... maybe :P
