1) My 7 Lv. 90 Jobs AF3+1 are now @ 31/35 pcs, and of those 24/35 pcs are AF3+2.

2) I won the Lot on an Augmented MAB+3, MCD+2 Ring yesterday.

3) I was helping a LS member get the Twilight God Atma with a Brew and managed to snag a Twilight Cloak. Needless to say I had to make a Build that needed +MP Gear to reach the 666 MP needed to cast Impact. This Build has:

...........................Being a WAR for 5 long Abyssea Runs everyweek is burning me out. It's like being in an Experience Burn Party everyday for hours non stop. When I mean hours I mean yesterdays Run was from 1:00 est to 11:00ish est. However it greatly benefits our runs so I must endure.

...........................On a side note I now have 18 AF3+2's and 1 waiting for the +1 completion. All the hard work is finally paying off. I'm almost out of points tho. LMAO!

............................Basically during any one our LS Abyssea Events our goal is to be as efficient as fucking possible. This involves alot work. Most people in FFXI understand that it is not cool to ask anyone for help when they are in their LS Event getting shit done.

................Early this morning SE announced that LastResort will be changed from a 30 seconds JA to a full 3 minute duration JA.

Translation#1..... LastResort > Berserk.
Translation#2..... You may or may not need to change your DRK Merits to reflect this.

Last Resort Recast (5 raises)
Last Resort Effect (5 raises)
Desperate Blows (5 raises)

Translation#3..... A 3 min LastResort with these Merits coupled with a 26% Haste Gear Build means a 51% drop in Weapon Delay without any TP Penalty, with only a 1 min 10 sec cooldown for LastResort.

Also.....DRKs are getting a new Lv.45 JA that decreases the amount of HP lost from SoulEater. Thus making your SoulEater Macro a two JA Macro.

The Gimp Info:

......................The Vit Vs. Crit. change is looking like a small nerf to Crit.Hits and Crit.Hit Weapon Skills. It will probably involve a Str VS Vit check in the formula making Str even more important, so I expect:

1) a Crit Max Damage decrease on higher Level Mobs... especialy NM's.
2) people QQ'ing... esecialy in Abyssea.

...........While it is true ....Abyseaa is currently about 95%+ of what we all are enjoying at the moment... it will not always be this way. Soon we will be dealing with New Content and reinvisioned/readjusted Old Content. Then we will be asking ourselfs. Where are the Atmas and Brews now?

So all you idiots stop trying to sell me your self justified argument that PLD and any other non efficient Abyssea Job is dead based solely on current Abyseaa only standards. Leave the Elitism back in the HNM Kings days where it belongs. Back when every Job looked exactly the same. Back when every WAR wanted to be a Walmart Turban sport'n, PlurpleBerk wear'n, Ridellin hoot'n toot'n, Bot use'n turd slurper. FFXI is evolving. It always has and always does. This is the common denominator which means No Job is ever dead.

So just Adapt and Versify yourself and enjoy the game.

................Back when Abyssea 1st came out, my Ultimatium Scythe was all set to gobble up some sweet 'n tasty 2-Leaf Chloris Buds........but Instead it sat in my MogHouse (with all the other "Island of Misfit Toys") starving to death. This seriously made me /cry myself to sleep. I mean I was heart broken and all but, eventualy I moved on...... /sniffles.

(Oh Yeah.....grats to all you fellow DRK's on your wonderful Catabolg GreatSword....So just go ahead there and shove them up your asses.....yes it's a good weapon, but I want mah Scythe... bitches) ;)

Anyway........

....................Now before I get myself all worked up and excited.... (to late....my leg is already all twitch'n) ......my LS is doing a starting total of about 15 weapons, all at the same time. Of that 15 , roughly 6 of us currently need 2-Leaf Chloris Buds. Theres a reason why not to many people do the Chloris NM Weapons. Chloris pop = shit ton of work.
Example:
yesterday pretty much equated to me being all "Raging Rushed" out. I was literaly spamming Raging Rush on War from 1:00 to 11:30. All that work and only 4, 2-Leaf Chloris Buds!

HEY STOP LAUGHING!

They also released a list on stuff that would not be allowed. Thankfully Justice Torque was not on this list. So what does this all add up too?

Well this particular time a unknown RDM Player was observing our Battle and decided to take some ZNM Pokemon Snap Pictures. As we Kited the NM past him he was Charmed and was turned into a Mini-Marlboro. That's him in the Pic on the left named "Kiky". It was so tempting not to kill him. ;) RMT = Virus ............and you thought RMT was gone? Here's a New RMT Party Leveling on Odin. 2 BLM, 2 RDM, 1 RDM, and a PLD. All Anon. The 5 Tarus were all the same Model and wearing the exact same cheap ass Gear. I can honestly say......RMT are the Viral STD's of FFXI and just like a Virus they will never go away.

My AF3 Trials and Tribulations thus far

Chapter 1: It's god dam raining Seals! .......................I must say, the very 1st week was good to me. I spammed the Soil Quest and the Sausage Quest and completed 2 AF3+1 Legs in 3 days. I began to think, nice this is shit is easy. It's god dam raining Seals! Soon I will have all the AF3+1 that I wanted. ...but that thought quickly faded away as Quest after Quest , week after week, I was left empty handed. Translation.............This Sucks. Chapter 2: Dam you Eternalpain! .........................The 1st sign should have been obvious. 1) each Area had 5 Quests that dropped Seals for 4 different Jobs 2) none of my 5 Jobs were grouped together Translation.........................I had to do all 20 Quests for 5 Jobs. Alternate Translation....................This Sucks. Meanwhile my friend Eternalpain was able to do the same Quests for 3 of his 4 EndGame Jobs. What a lucky bastard! Dam you Eternalpain! .......................However vengence was served tasty with a side dish of GTFO once he got his 1st AF3+1 peice completed and realized none of his Jobs were Leveled high enough to use them. LMAO /snicker ...just kidding Congrats Eternalpain! Chapter 3: Stoned out of my Mind. ......................Next I managed to Level SCH to 85 and began to ReSpam the Soil Quest. However fate soon found a way toTeabagged me yet again. That's right. Even tho I had already gotten my WAR Legs.... I still had to toss 50 more versus keeping 1 Sch Leg Seal. I swear SE's must have programed their Spegetti Code to increase the Seal Drop Rate for the ones you don't need while decreasing the Rate for the ones that you do. ........................Next I began doing the DRK Feet Seal Runs. I started off being a little lucky with 1 Seal Drop from my 1st 10 tries. Then about 60 /tossed Seals from 100 Runs later....... I was still had only 1 DRK Feet Seal. You do the math. Thats 110 Runs @ 10 to 15 minutes a Run, for 1 freak'n Seal. In other words....I do not have a shit-ton of Stones to use! Unlike my lucky friend Eternalpain who has like 90+ Stones (exact number may be off). Also a majority of my Stones are consumed by doing 4 Obsidian LS Abyssea Runs a week. Translation....................Need more Stones! Alternate Translation.....................This Sucks. Chapter 4: NM's... the F'n Trump Card. .........................luckily for me I did a few NM Runs with some friends and my LinkShell Obsidian. At first I got jack shit..... but this weekend I made up for it when I almost completed 2 Head AF3+1's! Anyway here's my AF3 total recap so far: 1) DRK AF3+1 Legs completed! 2) WAR AF3+1 Legs completed! 3) WAR AF3+1 Head completed! 4) Other Seals DRK Head 5/8 DRK Feet 3/8 WAR Feet 2/8 SCH Head 2/8 SCH Legs 5/8 SCH Feet 0/8 (PLD, DRG, SAM, ..... like 1 Seal here and there I forget) Translation.............................Abyssea is god dam awesome! Alternate Translation..................Bonus Weapon Skill Points, Magic Skill Points, Atma, Abysites, Gear Drops, AF3, XP, Merits, and a shit load of fun! LOL-SCH @ 85 and Decembers Update is getting ever closer...

.............................This month I saw my SCH go from Level-30 to 85. I also snagged 14 Merits and a 42K Buffer. It felt good just to use 10 of those Merits because they were just being waisted from being Merit Capped. I also managed to Cap 4 of the my 6 SCH Magic Skills, which reminds me. I really need to update my Skills on my Blog's Sidebar to reflect that. .............................On side note, in the next few weeks I will be Leveling RDM. Now while I don't want to Level another Mage Job, I don't really have a choice. You see, I don't have a real SubJob for SCH. Why is this you ask? Well, SCH was never meant to go to 85. It was just supposed to be a SubJob for my DRK and from there it sort of just took a life of it's own. HEY! No Laughing. ..............................Other then that, I just need to finish a few Trial Of Magian last Trials for: 1) GreatAxe 2) PoleArm 3) greatSword 4) GreatKatana ....and then I need to finish my Axe and other Scythe that I am working on. After that everything will be ready for Decembers Update. ..............................OH! I almost forgot. Why are people making a wall of Bazaars across the pathway to PortJuno? Come on. These people need to stop being a bunch of assholes. I took a pic so that I can point my fingers at these assclowns in my Blog ,but I didn't send it from X-Box. I will try to get that Pic out for tommorrow. On a funny note my friend Drakus similarly complained about people doing this around the Abyssea Maws/Port Juno Abyssea NPC's. The funny part is I caught him doing it a few times while he was doing the Quest "Aqua Puraga". Snaged! LOL.

Quest "Scattered Sheels, Scattered Mind": *Requirements Abyssea Vunkerl... Inlet Fame 3+ *Starter NPC.................... Aldoverre *Drops: (Garenteed) Augmented Darkness Ring (occasionally) Pup, Rng, Rdm, Drk Feet Seals *Quest is repeatable upon Zone out/in ...................Basically to do this Quest you need to find 3 moveing ??? Spots for 3 different Key Items. The 3 ??? Can be found in the following locations and there will never be 2 up within the same Monster Area. 1) Helter-skelter (Sight/Magic Aggro Bomb Mobs) by Conflux #08. 5 Spots it can appear here. There is also 1 ??? Spot right next to Martello VK-08 @ E-8. Not sure if it shares same Pop. There's also 1 ??? Spot in the Mushrum Mob Area (Non Agressive) that does not share the same Pop. 2) Aestutaur (True Sight, small range sight Taur Mobs) by Conflux #04. 5 Spots it can appear here. 3) Peapuk (Sound/Sight Aggro Puk Mobs) by Conflux #06. 6 Spots here (1 of those is near the Devegetators Crawlers and 1 in the Rabbit Mob Area...... both of which are not in to far) Note: There is supposed to be 1 more ??? Spot outside the Conflux #00 Area. However I never seen it up nor had to use it. ..................and here's How I did this Quest: 1) Go to Conflux #8 scan the Bomb Mob Area for a ??? Spot as you run thru. 2) Flag Quest at NPC Aldoverre. 3) Head back to the Bomb Mobs and grab the ??? seen earlier then take Conflux #8 to Conflux #4. If the ??? was not there it was probably by Martello#8. In that case just walk Conflux #4 which passes Martello #8 and snag the ??? on the way. 4) Grab the ??? in the Taur Mob Area. Then take Conflux# 4 to Conflux #6. 5) Grab the ??? in the Puk Mob Area. Then take Conflux# 6 to Conflux #8. 6) Go to NPC Aldoverre, collect the Augmented Dark Earring and pray for the Seal that you needed. Then take Conflux #8 to the Maw and Zone out. Rinse and repeat. Quest "His Bridge, his beloved": ...........................While you are there you can also Flag/do the Quest that involves the Bridges, "His Bridge, his beloved". If you decide to repeat this Quest and do it at the same time as the "Scattered Sheels, Scattered Mind" Quest, you will need to farm Viscous Spittle from the Spiders here ahead of time. Please note that You can not Trade, Bazaar, or Buy the Viscous Spittle from the AH. Each run can take up to 5 Viscous Spittles. *Requirements Abyssea Vunkerl... .................I really wish someone would make a guide for this kind of stuff. Alot of people only know bits and peices of it. Anyway Once again I was wrong. PHalanx. only takes off a amount of Damage per Damage round with the formula for the amount time the Spell is up... (Enhancing Skill/10) -2 ...................My dreams of combining a -PDT and a -MDT Capped set have gone and withered away. I now know I would need an Aegis and Mystic Sword Weapon for that. I will now keep a combined overall set and seperate -PDT and -MDT sets in my Macro Builds. Thank you to all the poeple who answered my weird ass questions and people who posted comments. It has helped me immensly. ;)

...........Ooops on my last Post I used the wrong Spell. It should have been Phalanx and not Protect5. This is actually a good thing because Phalanx was just recently added to a PLD's castables. Anyway here's the skinny............Basically the acceptable formula for Phalanx is... (Enhancing skill /10) -2 ...and from what I have read the Hard Cap for Phalanx is -28% PDT, but this probably needs to be retested as RDM user's Skill has increased with Levels past 75. ...........Now that we are all level 85. A PLD can Cap the Enhancing Skill @ 260. In December when we are all Level 90 our Cap will be 285. This means if we Macro in a pair of Gallant Breeches for an additional +5 Skill we can reach 290. That also means that this December we can reach -27% PDT. Level 85 Jobs: ..................... The update was 2 weeks ago and already I have Pld, Drk,War, and Sam @ 85. Saturday I will finish up my last Job which is Drg . Then I can move on to finishing the rest of all my Trial of Magian Weapons. I still have the new Trials for GreatAxe, PoleArm, GreatKatana, and GreatSword to finish. Which still leaves Axe and a 3rd Scythe in the early stages..... Magian Weapons: Reckoning+1 : ............To get a true 5-Hit with a 528 Delay Scythe on Drk/Sam @ Lv.75 or higher, you need Store-TP +24 from Gear/Food. What makes this Scythe awesome for this type of Build is it already gives you +10 Store-TP. You can get more Store-TP by equiping a Chiv.Chain(+1), a Brutal Earring(+1), a Rajas Ring(+5), and a Rose Strap(+4) but that still leaves you short Store-TP +3. While there are plenty of ways to get that last +3, what you really want is a Goading Belt to seal the deal (Emnity+3, Haste+5, Store-TP+5). This way there are absolutly no Gear sacrafices and you can eat what ever food you want like STR / ATK Food! Shamshir+1: ............I also finished this little baby for my PLD. Currently my Defense-Set Build consists of: -22% PDT (Physical Damage Taken) -19% MDT (Magical Damage Taken) +19% MDB (Magical Damage Bonus) +20 Emnity ......................The goal here is to combine a Magical and Physical Damage Gear Build Sets into 1. I beleive this is now possible. From what I have read, MDT and PDT caps @ 50% and you can get 27% of both from a Merited Mage's, Protect5 and Shell5. This means the goal for this Build is to reach -23%PDT, -23%MDT, and stack all the MDB you can get Gear wise. .........Yesterday began with just pure "Suck". At first I was asked to fill in for a person at work that was on vacation. Thus I had to unsign from our Abyssea Run. Of coarse my extended work day was cancelled, which translates to.... 1) No work 2) No Spot in Event 3) Not enough Stone Time anyway because I used it the day before when I had to Unsign from the run. Then on top of that... a bad storm rolled in that made me DC every 3 minutes for 3+ hours. .......At that point I was like "Fuk it" and watched some T.V. .... ...............but just then.......like the weather changing in the middle of a a Magian Weapon Trial........... my luck changed too. ....and a Crimson Abyssite of Celerity: A variety of ancient abyssite that harbors arcane powers. ................People really need to stop being cry babies/ complainers. On the one hand you have some people feeling butthurt because they put alot time/effort into Salvage and they are now crying that their Gear is now worthless. On the other hand you have people who were always sad/envious that they never had gotten any Salvage Gear so they are trying to rub it in and/ or push peoples shit in. All I got to say is..... What the Fuck is wrong with you people! Lets get the facts straight, shall we? 1) Salvage Was and is an awesome Event.... but after 2+ years you kind of get burnt out on it, just like everything else. 2) Salvage Gear Is still awesome and will remain so... untill we get all the AF3+2 pieces bitches. ~BAM 3) Let's not forget Theres also a good possibility that we will also be able to Magian Trial the Salvage Gear in the next update or so. The Story: ..............So there I was. It was Sunday and I had the day off. I had decided to change to WAR so that I could nock off more Magian Trial GA goodness. The only question on my mind was...... where too? Where could I go and to find some nice EasyPrey Beasts. Particularly ones that I could relentlesly kill with out resting, competing for Kills, and /Subing SAM. /Light Bulb Lynx @ M.Mountains[S]. Ahhh.... Never mind. They are TooWeak. /Light Bulb Couerl @ Temple of Ugly's. I'll check it out... /em zones into Temple of Ugly. ..............As soon as I zoned in I made a quick left and then that other left thru a closed door. There was like 4 Couerls. I quickly dispatched those with no hassle. Then I remebered. Dungeon Areas ReSpawns are long as hell. I will definetly need a new Area if I am going to get this last Trial completed.So as I was about to Zone a NM Couerl Pop'd. I fiqured hey....I'm right next to the zone line let me Pull him. If it is to tough for me currently Sub SAM, then I can just Zone it. ..............Meanwhile there was this Level 59 DRG named Reinex (not 100% on that spelling) /Shouting for help for his DRG AF. I thought it was kind of weird because there was only 3 people in the entire Zone. That's counting him and me. Anyway back to the NM that I just pull'd by the way. ..............You know those times when Third Eye/Seigen never want to stay up? Yea.... it was one of those times. That is why I fought it at the Zone Line. As I Zoned I noticed Mr. DRG was resting. /Sign. So I immediately Zoned back in.... to.... I don't know... maybe Provoke it off him and Zone it to the other Zone Line or something.... but he already he had Zoned. Once I seen he was OK , I left the Area. That's when the /Tells started. Reinex>> MPK'er Before I go on I just want to say this guy comes off as a Newb. I am not trying to be an Elitist here ,but this person simply mean lacks some pretty basic knowledge one can get from in game experiences. Like Shouting in the Area you need your AF without Scanning how many people are in the Zone or the difference between someone Zoning a NM versus a regular Mob. Anyway so I replied back. Well I guess my typing ingame is normally worse. heh. I'm no English major either. /Blist add Reinex The End Result: ................Nothing happened. I just relocated to much better spot, Jugner Forest[S] and killed Smilodons with their fast as hell ReSpawns and nice lttle Pixie wondering around Curing me. Definitely a much better spot. The ReCap: ................While Yes I did Zone the NM while Reinix was at the Zone. I did not know he was there Resting. I was fighting the NM like 10 feet away around a corner and not Zoning it from across the Mason Dixie Line. There is a big difference from Zoning a NM like I did and Zoning a NM to MPK someone on purpose. I also want to note that I did Zone back in to try and help him. The truth is I don't think it even hit him. There simply was no need for him to act that way and even tho I did feel like telling him off... Magian Trial Weapons...progression (Part-1)

................Love it or hate it...the Magians Trials are here to stay. They make any AH and NM Drop Weapons obsolete (yes Hagun to). This means you should already have completed a few of them. However, some people... actually alot of people.... are quite turned off by the Elemental Trials. Well then don't do 'em. If they seem to hard and tideous for you then try one of the new Level-80 Weapons. They are just as good, way faster to complete, and definetly the easiest Trials to do. ................Here's my personal Progress so far... *Scythe #1 ...........Fin *Scythe #2 ..........Fin *GreatSword........Fin *GreatKataba.......Fin *PolArm ..............Fin *Sword .................(on 2nd trial) *Axe .....................(on 2nd trial) *Axe .....................(not started) *GreatAxe ...........(on 4th trial) *Scythe #3 ..........(on 2nd trial) Scythe: 1) Ultimatium. Basically this weapon I wanted to be a maximum Damage 6-Hiter. My choices here were a DMG:109 SpiralHell+10%, DMG:106 STR+6 ATK+20, DMG:113, and a non Magian Trial Scythe DMG:106 (w/Darkness Damage). I Ultimately choose the Emperial Weapon w/DMG:113. However, thanks to SE (yay...can you say bottleneck), I had to stop on the last Trial needing 50 drops from Abyssea. This left my Scythe at DMG:107. 2) Reckoning. This was a no brainer. This Weapon allows me to have a 5-Hit Scythe Build without sacraficing any of the ACC/Haste from my oiriginal 6-Hit Build. As new Gear comes available this Build will only improve in time. GreatSword: 1) Kalavegs. This choice seemed rather easy to. The drop in this weapons delay compared to say an Algol GreatSword ruined the chance of any better X-Hit Build. Thus I instead choose the Higher Damage Weapon. GreatKatana: 1) Keitinotachi. Here I went with the the obvious choice for SAM.... Store-Tp. Yes, I know my SAM does not yet have an effecient 5-Hit Build, but I definetly will down the road. PoleArm: 1) StingRay. This one was another one of those Store-TP Versus higher Damage decisions. I choose the higher Damage Weapon because I cannot make a true 5-Hit Build......well atleast not yet. However If down the road this situation changes then I will simply toss this weapon and remake it. ............That's it for today in a few weeks I will add GreatAxe, Axe (x2), and a Sword or two as I complete those to. While I was there I also snag'd me a Ugy Temple Map. Collosus Cape: .................On Saturday I went with a few LinkShell friends, snagged this and an Odin Summons. Dynamis: .................LolWarRelicLegs +1 completed. This puts me @ 3/5 War Relic +1. This Will go nicely with my full AF+1 War Set. LMAO! Hey! I said no laughing! ..............Please. For the love of God. STOP /CRYING ABOUT THE WEATHER TRIALS! ..............What the hell do you want? You want the shit just handed to you on a silver platter? You're playing a God Dam MMORPG for fucks sakes. Everything in this game equals a timesink! If the Weather Trials are just to much stress for you to handle, then choose a different Trial path. ..............First of all, if you think the Weather Trials are that freak'n bad, then go try ask'n Qtipus how much fun it is doing his Relic Polearm Trials (1500 Arcane Mob Relic WeaponSkill Kills). Between his WeaponSkill ocasionaly wiffing, or under shooting the Kill Damage, or his Wyvern killing the Mob...... he will probably end up doing more like 3000 Kills. Of coarse there are always other options for you. ..............Have you tried the new level 80 Trial Weapons? You can complete most of them anywhere from one day to a week tops. Most of them are really good too. ..............Have you tried FF14 yet? Please log out of FFXI now and go try the Beta. Example: Guilotine --> Insurgency = Compression (Some of us Drks could already do this before the Level Increase) However with Sekkanoki you can now Solo Light with 3 Weapons SKills on a Scythe! This requires an Icarus Wing so your best bet to test this out is in Campaigne . There you can get as many Icarus Wings as you want from an NPC with Allied Notes with no Medication Effect. This can also be done without an Icarus Wing but it is much harder to pull off. Anyway here's the SkillChain Order: Guilitine--> Shadow Of Death--> Insurgency = Light Have fun. ~BAM

Bahumuts Zagnel: (30 Second Zerg Weapon) ..............SO you don't have a Kraken Club and you're like fuck those Ridell and Mercurial Kris toot'n bitches. Your a regular ole' Scythe lovin DRK. Well then the Bahumuts Zagnel was taylor made just for you. If your LS does not do the BC that drops this. Then go farm some Cloud Evokers from the ENM "Sheep in Antlions Clothing" and make a deal with one of your friends who's LinkShell does. Ultimatium: (/Nin /Thf /War Weapon) ..............Thanks to some assistance from our Obsidian LinkShell friends. Kreoss, Manders, and I have succesfully completed the newest Ultimatium Trial on Sunday. Thus turning our Scythes from 105 into 107 DMG Weapons. ..............Next we each need to collect 30 specific Drops from Walk Of Echoes and/or Abyssea to complete the last available Trial which turns them into Emperial Weapons sporting 113 DMG. Who knows how long that will freak'n take /sign. However completing this last Trial will change the Delay on the Weapon from 528 to 502. This permantly destroys any future possibility of a "working" 5-Hit Build. Luckily I have a solution. I will keep this as my regular 6-Hit Weapon and work on a secondary Weapon 5-Hit Weapon. Unfortunetly the Ultimatium was alot of hard work and I really don't want to do it twice /Sign. but looky what I just found..... Reckoning: (/Sam Weapon) ..............Wow how the hell did I miss this from the Update. All new Magian Trial Weapons that start @ Lvl-80 instead of Lvl-75. This Reckoning Scythe is perfect. On top of 105 DMG, the needed 528 Delay, it also has Store TP+7. That's Freak'n Awesome! This will allow the use ACC food instead of Carbanara for a 5-Hit Build! This means I can Cap ACC, while using max available Haste Gear, and still have a 105 DMG Weapon. ~BAM! ...But that's not all.... .............. it get's even better. This Weapon only has 4 Trials not 10 like Ultimatium and they are easy as hell. I already did Trial# 1503 this morning before work in 45 Minutes. Basically everytime you use the specified Weapon Skill you get a point! I was getting 3-4 points per mob! 1) Trial# 1503: 100, Exp giving, Any Mob Type (NightMare Scythe) 2) Trial# 1504: 200, Exp giving, Any Mob Type (Spinning Scythe) 3) Trial# 1505: 300, Exp giving, Vermin Mob Type (Vorpal Scythe) 4) Trial# 1507: 800, Exp giving, Aquian Mob Type (any Weapon Skill) That is all for today. June's Update Abyssea Predictions: (I made this Blog Post 2 weeks ago) 1) There will be 3 new Maws. 1 for each of the 3 new Abyssea Mini-Expansions. 2) The new Abyssea Maws will be positioned near the Craigs of Holla, Dem, and Mea in Present time Vane'diel. 3) Just like the Warrior AF and AF2 Gear....The Warriors AF3 will suck! (just kidding.........or was I!) 4) The Parellel world's version of Maat from the Abysea Story line will be a bad ass, bad guy. 5) The Abyssea story line will have the two evil Shantollo's from the ASA's Mini-Expansion Story Line. 6) Just like "Sanction", "Signet", and "Sigel"..... there will be a new one in Abysea called "Suckit"..... I mean "Salvation". 7) Drk's will get three new Spells "Curse", "Terror", and "Stone 3" from the first Level-Cap 75 -> 80 Raise. 8) Sky will be reskinned to be the new bad guys head quarters in Abyssea, but will only be seen in CutScenes in the "Visons of Abyssea" Mini-Expansion. The area will open up by the third Mini-Expansion. 9) Most Moogle kind will be enslaved in Abyssea. 10) Phoenix will become available as a new Avatar used only when you 2-Hour like Odin/Alexander.

Merits: ...........Saturday I completely finishing my Merits putting me @ 469/469. This means I can only store 10 more Merits before I am actually waisting XP. That also means no more Campaigne for me untill the June Version Update. I think it's time for me to finish up that SCH Sub or maybe getting PLD to 75. Campaigne: ............Later that night I also unlocked the very last AN Medal, the "Medal of Alanta 4". I then quickly Flee'd to Bastok and snag'd that new Forth Mantle @ 75,000 AN. This will be used for my SAM/DNC Soboro Campaigne-TP Build and on my DRK 5-Hit Scythe Build. Which brings me to.... True 5-Hit Scythe Build (20TP per Swing): .............With my aquisition of the Fourth Mantle I can slightly altar my Store-TP Gear in my 5-Hit Scythe Build which frees up one of the my Ring Slots for either an Iota Ring (ACC) or Blitz Ring (Haste+1): Rose Grip +4 Store-TP Askar Body +5 Store-TP Chiv. Chain +1 Store-TP Brutal Ear. +1 Store-TP Rajas RIng +5 Store-TP 4th Mantle +2 Store-TP (Carbanara) +6 Store-TP Basically to make a Scythe 5-Hit Build on DRK you need: 1) +24 Store-Tp from Gear and Food 2) /SAM 3) a 528 Delay Scythe ..............The main problem with this build is you loose out on Cap'd ACC versus higer Level/Evasion Mobs. This makes the Build only good for lower Tier'd LinkShell Events. This is mainly why I never use it. However, with the possible future release of new Gears from upcoming Version Updates this Build may become Viable. .............If you are looking for more information on this type of Build. There is a Allakazham Store-Tp Guide someone posted but it is not 100% accurate. Someone also Linked it on the BG Forums. NIN Sub: ..............While I did manage to get my /NIN from Level-37 to Level-49 the other week. I was still missing 1 Spell the Hojo: Ni Scroll. Instead of buying it from the AH I did attempt to Farm it from the Tonberry NM and the regular Tonberries but they were being stingy bastards. I finaly gave in and tried to snag it from the AH. Of course everytime one was AH'd it was sold immediately. Luckily I managed to snag one for about 50K but it took 2 whole weeks of scanning the AH. With the that note my /NIN is finally completed. Like my friend Glacian always says... Glacian>> Back in the Box you go! Kraken Club: ...............Dam! My friend EternalPain got the Kraken Club Drop and quickly sold it for 44 Million Gil! ~Nuff said BUB! Odin#1: ...............Odin won. /em shakes his fist vengefully in the air at Odin. Alex: ...............Alex got his shit pushed in! It was like a 3 minute Prep/Buff and took about a minute to kick his ass. Since there was nothing really that I could use I just choose the Alexander Summon. Odin#2: ...............We won!. Kreoss and I died first with his M.Kris and my Bahumet Zagnel. The rest of the Team pulled out all the stops for the win. I choose a Torque to replace my Dark Torque. I definetly could use a few more items from this fight so I'll be back Mr. Odin! /em wrenches his fist in the air at Odin rightiously. Ashu Talif BC#1: ................I decided to do this set of BC's with some of my friends and we beat the Tier-1 BC fairly easily. While we did lose the 2nd BC we did learn from it and only had 5 people anyway. Soon we will be farming that third BC! I can feel it. .......as always see ya Online! ~BAM

X's Knife [Do you need it?]

Limbus: ..................Lately I've been doing some Limbus with some of my friends over at the LinkShell OpenDoor2. My main goal there is to complete my last 3 AF+1 Gears while helping them build a few Omega Pop Sets. Thank you again "Magical Boobies"(Sap) for passing that DRG AF+1 Item which finally completes my AF+1 Set! Congrats to Kreoss on completeing his Homam 5/5 and the other 2 peeps on there Homam too. ReCap: DRK....... AF+1 FullSet WAR....... AF+1 FullSet DRG....... AF+1 FullSet SAM....... AF+1 3/5 ENM's: ..................So every Saturday Ravax(MNK), Mav(RDM), and myself(DRK) do the X's Knife BC. Then we immidiately follow that up with the Hagun Drop ENM. We have been trying to sell that dam X's Knife Drop for awhile now but it doesn't like to Drop. Of coarse last Saturday we had no buyers and no THF friends Online. Even LukeBoxWalker was showing offline on my Friendslist. Ravax opens the Treasure Chest. You find a X's Knife! So...since both Mav and Ravax already had one it went to my Level-49 THF. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Campaigne XP back to normal?

Campaigne: ...................Oddly enough Campaigne XP has reverted back to it's previous yield. This aparently happened suspicuosly right after the Version Update/Patch. If you read my Blog Post from last week it explains how every 1-Wave Campaigne was always netting me and my friends exactly 1500 XP. It now seems to be back to the normal with 2k+/3k+ per 1-Wave Campaigne and I haven't even seen a 1500 XP Run since.

W T F.... is going on here!!! .............Look I have done plenty of Campaignes. Enough to earn a bunch of Merits... Enough to cap my Lvl-75 Buffers... Enough to gain the latest top Tier Medal and maintain it... Enough to aquire a decent amount of AN Gear. .............So...since...when does every 1-Wave Campaigne give a nice fat round number like 1500 XP? Not just once. It's every time now and it's not just me it's my friends too! At first it just seemed kind of odd, a koinkydinky if you will..... but then I started to keep track of it. (all in same Campaigne) Jess has earned 1500 XP Ulyses has earned 1500 Xp Callistra has earned 1500 XP (all insame Campaigne) Jess has earned 1500 XP Eternalpain has earned 1500 XP (all in same Campaigne) Jess has earned 1500 XP Junin has earned 1500 XP .............In the past 3 days alone I have done about 14 more 1-Wave Campaignes with 13 of them rewarding 1500 XP (the other one I was dead the entire Campaigne). .............From what I understand the Campaigne Formula seems to calculate your XP in different contributing ways like Magic Damage, Healing, Melee Damage, Tanking ect... but this 1500 XP per 1-Wave is wierd. It seems more like a total Cap per Wave. At first I thought SE was preparing for the new Lvl-99 Cap and needs to standerize Campaigne XP. What do you think? ..............Look I'm not really upset about the XP. I am kind of a little irate that I take the time to do all this Campaigne shit for AN gear, in order create a Campaigne Build, in order to gain a bigger benefit from Campaigne in the 1st place....... and then I have to bend over. It's like digging a hole and then just filling it back up. In reality tho we just need to wait and see where SE is going with this and what the bigger picture is. ..............any way....since we are talking about pictures.... Preparing For 99 (Progress Report: Part-1)

Level-99: .................When SE first anounced At Vanefest a few weeks ago that they were increasing the Level Cap from 75 to 99, it reinvigorated me. It gave me a new drive and purpose. SE was right. FFXI had reached the point where COP Areas no longer needed being Level Cap'd and seeing a Maat's Cap become a pretty common event. FFXI was becoming stagnant. There's a reason animals have an instictive behavior to drink running water rather then sitting water. Stagnancy equals death. SE knew this and they delivered with a steroid shot right in the ass.. .................So...after carefull thought and revaluation.... I have simplified the preperation for the up and coming Level Cap Increase into 4 simple catagories. 1)Subs 2)Buffers 3)Merits 4)Old Content 1)Sub Jobs For Level-99: .................For the next few weeks I will be investing some time on prevoisly Level'd old 37 Subs and make them Level-99 ready. Last week saw me take THF, DNC, and NIN from 37 to 49. This week I will be working on SCH which I left at the dismal Level of 29 a long ass time ago. Maybe in the next few weeks I'll hit up COR-37, BLU 37, and PLD 39. Subs that are ready now for 99: A) /Drk B) /Sam C) /War D) /Drg E) /Thf F) /Dnc G) /NIN 2)Buffers For Level-99: DRK @ 20,000 DRG @ 42,000 SAM @ 43,000 WAR @ 43,999 3)Merits For Level-99: ..................SE also said We will be getting a Merit Cap Increase as well as a possible new type of Level-99 Merit in the near future. My friend Ravax had this good idea of a so called "Super Merit". His idea was you can trad in 10 regular Merits for 1 "super Merit". Everyone needs to STFU and realize a few things. 1) SE = Game Balance: SE always maintains Game Balance over everything else. That means your freak'n awesome Lvl-75 Morigans Robe will still be freak'n awesome even at Lvl-99. Look at Byakkos Haidate as an example. It's still freak'n awesome and it came out when? Most likely we will be Augmenting our existing Gear thru an Augment System that actually works! The Trial of Magaia.... or how ever thats spelled. This is SE's solution to ease your whimpering and all your butt hurt. Just make room for the incoming Lvl-99 +30 MAB Bodies bitches. LMAO! 2) All New Possibilities: Even tho we don't know how SE will balance the SubJobs.... we can still take a look and speculate. Rdm's may no longer need to Sub DRK for Stun because they can get it from /BLM. DRK's will be able to Self-SkillChain Distortion with a GreatSword (that's if SE lowers the SAM's JA like they said) or Light if you have a Relic GreatSword. You thought Soboro SAM/DNC was unstopable in Campaigne before. Now they will have Haste-Samba. Remeber the old DualWield WAR/NIN days? With DualWield III and a new new Temporary Tanking Job Ability they'll be back! The list go's on and on! 3) Set The Mark: Nows your chance to stop being just a sheep in the flock and become the Bull. The lvl-75 Elitist stagnacy has come to an end and in it's place will be temporary uncertainty and your chance to step up your Game. FFXI is getting refreshed. The Elitist will now need to get off there ass's and get a crack'n or GTFO and /quit. Just remeber theres a difference from being a EndGame Player and being an Elitist asswipe! 4) You Still Have 4 Months: That's right take a fresh look at where exactly you are right now in the Game and start to prepare for the June Update. That's when we get our 1st Level change. There's plenty of time if you plan it all out and stop bitching about the Subs. 37 to 49 is only 12 more Levels! I myself have already started. My Main Events can center around Einherjar, Salvage, Sea for Torques, ZNM's, and Dynamis. This will allow time for new Events such as Walk of Echos and Abyssea. 5) Campaigne Is Your friend ....................On a much smaller scale I am glad I created a Campaigne Build for my DRK/SAM and SAM/DNC. This will assist me when I level my 75's to 99. On top of that they are also releasing New Campaigne Medals and Items in March and June. It's rumored that the last Medal may prevent you from losing older Medals. Kind of similar to how Captains Rank grants you free Rune Teleports. ....................By the way I am glad the Level was increased to 99. I have always pushed in every direction in this Game to improve and push thru any Limit and any boundry. Now I can literaly take it to a whole new Level! Chapter 2: Pushing the Orc's Shit in "TEAM SPLITTING HEIRS...... ASSEMBLE!" Mav, Ravax, Izman, Qtipus, Kaylea, Jess .......................13 runs of Splitting Heirs.... Final Score: 13 wins 0 losses Drops: 4 Cuch Mantles 3 Witch Sashes 6 LOL Orc Gloves .......................While most of our Runs were under 10 minutes, our fastest Run was @ 7 minutes and 42 seconds. Other then a few fumbles it was pure Pawnage! Our Party Set-up consisting of a WHM, RDM, PLD, DRK, DRG, and a SAM. Most other groups were either BLM Mana Burn or DRK Kraken Club Burn Set-ups. Chapter 1: The Gold Rush Sunday: .............It's 10:00 AM EST here and the weekly Signet/Sanction/Sigel Tallies have just finished, so I take a peek. Hey Sandy[S] has all 6 of it's Areas under control and La Vuale[S]. /em poops in his pants. I immediately send out /tells to the Team: Mav, Ravax, Izman, Qtipus, Kaylea... (and me). "TEAM SPLITTING HEIRS...... ASSEMBLE" (...in Marvel Comics Avengers style) ...we tentively decide to schedule some runs for Monday. ..............It's now like 1:00 EST here and in the AH there are 16 Cuch Mantles. Dam! Aparently everyone is trying to sell the Old ones for 5 Million before the New ones Drop the Price. There's only one problem. They are Undercutting like Hell. The same thing goes for the Witch Sash. Monday: ..............It's now 7:00 AM here and there are 138 People in La Vaule[S] probably spamming their Mouse trying to get into the Splitting Heirs BC. I check the AH and already the Cuch Mantle has dropped from 5 Mil to 2.9 Mil. 1 person even went as far and Undercut'd it by 1 Mil! ..............I also checked the Witch Sash and it too went from 2.5 Mil to 1.5 Mil. WTF....it hasn't even been 24 hours! ..............It's a good thing this BC is hard as hell because most people can't win it without utilizing 4 Kraken Club DRKs (not all people....some just do it because it's easier). The best Strategy here may be to hold out and wait till Prices shoot back up after a few weeks go bye. ..............On top of that...We will also be a little rusty, seeing that it's been over freak'n 8 Months since the BC has even been available. ..............Oh well time to shift into gear and head to work. Maximizing your DRK's TP-Build: ................To maximizing your TP-Build you should be aiming to meet all three of the following factors. 1) Acc Cap ...............The ACC Cap is not really a certain set amount quantity of ACC. What The ACC Cap really is... is the games calculation of your ACC Versus a Mobs Evasion. ACC Caps @ 95%. This means if you reach the CAP you will always miss 5 Swings out of every 100 at best. ................If you read one of my last posts, I talked a little about my DRK's ACC. Here is the actual total amounts of Melee'ng ACC I utilize. I really wish you could actually see an ACC Stat in your Equipment Menu. Oh well... /grumble. TP-Build w/Adaman Hauberk: Scythe Skill(297).... +287 ACC +80DEX............... +60ACC +46ACC............... +46 ACC (Total ACC = 393) WS-Build w/Ares's Cuirass: Scythe Skill(297).... +287 ACC +90DEX............... +67 ACC +10ACC............... +10 ACC +32WSACC............. +32 ACC (Total ACC = 396) 2) Haste Gear Cap The Haste Gear Cap amount is just a little more then Haste+25. You probably won't reach this Cap on DRK without the Relic Scythe, so stack as much Haste as you can get your grubby little hands on. My personal DRK's TP-Build utilizes Haste+19 in Gear. 3) X-Hit Your goal here is to try and reach 100TP in the least amount of Swings possible with out sacraficing any Haste or ACC Cap gear. ...and that's it. Anything after that would be stricktly Damage Modifiers so load up with what you can of stuff like Attack, Double Attack, STR, Crit, ect... ............Since the begining of FFXI time there has been this nonsensical never ending great DRK debate. Always posing the same question... "What is the best DRK Scythe?" 1) Death Scythe+1 2) Tred. Scythe ...but then .....out of seamingly no where .......just when this shit was complicated enough .........SE throws in 4 more comparable Scythes 3) Perdu Scythe 4) Molines Scythe 5) Vendetta Scythe 6) Lyth Scythe (seamingly no where = more like a 3-4 year span...) lol ....But alas, do not fray my friend. For I have found,the one and only, true Scythe. "Enter the Augmented Scythe" .................That's right. I said Augmented Scythe. You see all the other Scythes, the Tred Scythe, the Perdu Scythe, the Molines Scythe, and even the Vendetta Scythe can not be Augmented. The Lyft Scythe can be Augmented using a Crucible but it's specific Augmentations are almost too specific to be actually worth anything. The Dwemor Scythe simple sucks.. don't waste your time with it! That leaves only 1 true EndGame candidate. The Death Scythe! .................Somewhere On my Server there is a player walking around with DMG+2 and ACC+3 Augmentations on their Death Scythe. That's a 99 Damage freak'n Weapon with 3 extra Accuracy. Just imagine that on a Death Scythe+1. Thus for the past 6 months I have been trying to create a similar one. Here's an idea of what I am aiming for: A) DMG+2, STR+5 B) DMG+2, ACC+5 C) DMG+2, Crit.Hit Rate+3 D) DMG+2, Delay-3% E) DMG+2, (anything good LOL) ................... after 30+ tries....and alot of sad pandas......here's a list of my LOL best results: 1) Delay-3%, Resist Pioson+2 2) HP+25, MP-25, STR+1, Resist Stun+1 3) Water+7, Crit.Hit Rate+3 4) DMG+1, STR-1, DEX+1, AGI-1 5) HP+23, Crit.Hit Rate+2 6) HP+24, STR+1, Emnity+1 ................The best part of this Augmentation is the actual cost. You can buy a Death Scythe for dirt cheap in the AH, roughly 30K on my Server and sell it for almost 7K to a NPC if the Augmentation sucks. That means it's SPAM-AGA time! ................Anyway I hope this helps other DRK's working on a similar goal and finally quels that age old DRK Forum Madness. ................and for as for those non believers......last nights latest results where.. CAMPAIGNE: ..............SO! My Allied Note Gear Collection is almost complete. Spending a total of 525 Allied Notes thus far: Iron Ram Head Iron Ram Body Iron Ram Hands Iron Ram Legs Iron Ram Feet Storm's Report Sonia's Plectrum Bull Necklace Patrons Ring Rose Grip Crimson Belt I picked up that Crimson Belt last night. That leaves only the Cougar Pendant (which is 45,000 points) to work on. Any new Allied Notes after that will be strictly for ANNM's onry. .........I actually still need two Non-Allied Note Campaigne Gears to complete my Campaigne Build. I seen them in the AH: 1) Grenadier Belt ATK+3, STR+3, DEX+3, AGI+3 (in Campaigne STR+8, DEX+8, AGI+*) 2) Viator Cape HP+15, MP+15 (in Campaigne HP+15, HP+5%, MP+15, MP+5%, HP while Resting+2, MP while Resting+2) .........I hope SE adds other Events to where you can utilize these Campaigne Gears beyond just Campaigne. Otherwise why create a Campaigne Build when you don't need to do Campaigne anymore. Good thing some of the Gears are atleast usefull outside Campaigne. SALVAGE: ..............Finally I got the USU 35-Head Drop (I already had the 25pc and 15pc) and I need like 3 Million Gil to complete it. I also got the Skadi 35 and 15-Head Drops via Free Lot (no one wanted it and I already had the 25pc). This means I will need another 3 Million Gil. /em slaps his own face. The Ares's Cuirass will now strictly become my WS Macro Build piece because the ACC there is already bolstered by an additional +32 WS ACC. Here take a look: TP-Build w/Adaman Hauberk: Merits/Gear Skill.... +21 ACC +15DEX............... +11 ACC +46ACC............... +46 ACC (Total additional ACC = 78) WS-Build w/Ares's Cuirass: Merits/Gear Skill.... +21 ACC +25DEX............... +18 ACC +10ACC............... +10 ACC +32WSACC............. +32 ACC (Total additional ACC = 81) ...............Of coarse there will be times when mobs have either crazy Evasion or too high of a Level Correction.Then of coarse I will need to WS in the Adaman Hauberk. This also means I can shelf my Homam Body that I was using for my DRK's Super Max ACC Build and sell my WAR's regular Hauberk. ................In addition to the E. Body Abj. I also picked up a P.Hands Abj.! This puts me at 3/5 on that Set. Again I will need even more Gil. Like another additional 8 Million to to get those made. Thus I say to Jamast.... Purple Belt: ..............Last Friday night I went out to the B.Glacier to do a few Moogle Mini-Expansion Missions. A bunch of friends still need that last BC fight so I'll snag a Key when I help them for the Red Tenshendo Shop Treasure Chest. Anyway since I was already in the area I decided to check and see if Nue the Tiger NM was up. /em defeats Nue. /obtains a Nue Fang. Awesome! Not only does that make me 1 of 2 on the Nues Fang Drop but it also puts me at 2/3 of the Items for the Brown Belt Quest. .....but wait a minute. I still need to finish the Purple Belt Quest which means....... I can't even Flag the Brown Belt Quest. I'm still missing one of those dam NM Ram Horns. So... off to Craig of Holla I go....... ...and guess what I see. A big fat NM Ram called BloodTear looking at me. (hey that rymed .... very cheesy) Here's my Chat Log when I saw him: Jess>> Hey Mav is the NM Ram BloodTear Solable by a DRK/SAM /em gets Drawn in by Bloodtear. Jess>> Nevermind just got Drawn In. Sunday morning I forced myself out of bed: 1) 5:30 AM I head out to Ordelles Cave and there's a RDM who is /Anon Camping it's Spawn. 2) 12:15 I head out to do Dynamis-Xcarbard. 3) 6:45 I head back to Ordelles Cave and a Level-70 WHM joins the Camping fun. 4) 8:15 the RDM that's been there all day decides to Warp out but not before I scan him/her. No "Marbolgers Bain" Title... maybe it still hasn't Pop'd? 5) 8:18 I send a /Tell to the RDM "Notorious Monster" "Marboro" "Death"? 6) 8:19 I get a /Tell back "NM @ 10min~3:00". 7) 8:29 ~BAM it Pops! I do a quick stare down with the WHM like in the The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly... and then.... 2 Spells are fired off. The WHM casts Dia. The DRK (me) casts Stun. ( ..../cough 9% FastCast Gear and the Fastest Stun Button Finger on the Server) ~BAM!!!!! /em defeats Marbolger. /em obtains a Marbolger Tenticle. TOD 8:30 So.......... Off to Lower Juno I go. /em obtains a BrownBelt. BlackBelt: ...............Next stop.... the Black Belt Zone. MAV>> LOL RAV, Full Usu, no BB MNK ...............No seriuosly I'm not Level'n MNK to 75 but atleast I can Flag the Quest in case I ever change my mind. Besides the MoogleBall Event is here and if I had won the Big Gil Pot I would have totaly hooked up my friend Rav with a Adamantiose Egg! The State of the Odin Server: ...............Just recently I have heard news from friends that the LinkShell Versus was absorbed into the BBQ LinkShell fold. While I do not want to offend anyone with any rampant opinionated speculation, I do feel that this was a good strategic decision on Versus's part. It will definetly ultimately benifit both the players of BBQ and the remaining Members of Versus. I am a former Versus member and I hold high regards and respect for all my friends in both LinkShells. ...............As we all know..... the Odin Server is still Closed to Inbound World Transfers and New Player Character Creation. Thus With out a new influx of additional Players coming in and more and more people Quiting or Transfering Out, many LinkShells await a similar fate. Many smaller LinkShells will have to make a decision to either Merge, Break, or Low-Man many Events. ...............On the bright side of this, it also bottle necks alot of RMT here. You can see this if you were to Create a Character on a different World Server. I tried this myself and in literaly 3 minutes I was spammed with a /Tell to buy Gil from RMT every freak'n 10 to 20 minutes. No, I am not kidding. I also confirmed this with some friends who have moved to other World Servers. ...............While I do understand peoples logic for Transfering to a different Server my opinion remains the same. The grass is not greener on the other side of the hill. It's simply the same hill. .............just another side with it's own set of problems and issues. I myself will be staying in Odin. Besides.... I was never good at the Game Musical Chairs. ...............What do you think?

Campaigne Experience Glitch

Campaigne Experience Glitch: ...............While being so close to Capping my total amount of Merits (currently 430/468), I have decided to switch from Limit Points back to Experience Points. The idea here is to Cap all my Buffers and leave it like that untill PLD and RNG are 75. Here's my progression: DRG....... 43,999 (Cap) SAM....... 43,999 (Cap) WAR....... 43,999 (Cap) DRK....... 42,800 'ish ................As I have said before..... I no longer /Join Merit Parties. Instead I FOV in Cape Terrigan and do Campaigne. ................Well yesterday I teamed up with my friend EternalPain for some Campaigne action. He was PLD/DNC and I was DRK/SAM and we were freak'n tearing Jugner Forrest[S] up! We were unstoppable..... and at the end of the 2 Wave Campaigne my Chat Log read: Jess earns 4250 Experience Points Jess earns 425 Limit Points ................Now before this had happened... I was like 1200'ish Points to my Buffer Cap and less then 900 Points towards the next Merit. However something was a miss. Aparently the game can not seperate any single amount of Experience Points given. It's just a loss. /em waves goodbye to 3K Experience Points /em learns a new lesson /em changes Exp Pts back to Lim Pts

Allied Notes & Campaigne: ................Sonia's Plectrum..... Mine! Wooooot! Salvage: ................We did another LBC Run. The main goal was to try and snag a 25 Ares Body to complete Psi's Ares Body. On the way there we Pop'd a Rampart by killing the 10 Special Gear Mobs that Weaken LBC. Each one Warps away if you don't kill them under a minute. They also Warp if you Agro them. The key here is to use a non Magic, non Job Ability way of Pulling from past their Agro Range. Most people use a Ranged Weapon or a Bard Song for this. Wind Weather extends their Agro Range too. ................Anyway With plenty of time we Farm'd the Rampart to Full. We were lucky with 2 NM Reinforcement Spawns. 1st NM ....... Alex onry Drop 2nd NM ....... Wooot double Drop The 35 Skadi Body went to Mav completing his Skadi Set 15/15 and the 35 Marduk Legs went FreeLot to Shadir. One of our newest Members. ................So what did LBC Drop? I forgot but it wasn't the Ares Body that we wanted. Still it was a 4 Drop Run which is pretty awesome. Einherjar: .................Odin number 23? Who knows? I lost track but I think this was our fastest Odin kill yet. Someone even said "Odin is melting today!" unfortunetly 3 non awesome Drops and no E-Body again. Oh Well, We have another Odin in 4 more Runs! Great Axe & Other Weapon Skill Ups: ...............Yes the rumors are true! I had a fully Merited and Geared 75 Warrior with a non-Cap'd GreatAxe Skill. I know.... The shame, The horror..... The "El Oh El" NOOB! ...............Anyway the other day I went to The Boyanda Tree to change that. With Chubsy's (MiniCrazy) and PoppisGirl's help, I finally capped it at 276! That's 4 god dam hours spent for 8 measly points (sorry about that to any religous freaks out there that I just offended). so.... File Name: LOL WAR (With UnCapped GreatAxe Skill) File Status: Case Closed Bish! ...............After that I went completely nuts as WAR/DNC and started Skilling Up all the Weapons that I don't use. No! You didn't just read that wrong. I said "Skilling Up all the Weapons that I don't use!" as Warrior/fruitcake Dancer. With 90% of the Skill Ups in 1 day with no "Martial Master" Mog Tablet Effect. Allied Notes & Campaigne: ..............Last week I cashed in 45,000 Allied Notes for a Bulls Necklace +4STR (+25STR in Campaigne). It's a nice Campaigne only Item that I will be using in my Campaigne Gear Builds. Here's a list of my Allied Note Items that I have aquired thus far: Iron Ram (Head) Iron Ram (Hands) Iron Ram (Body) Iron Ram (Legs) Iron Ram (Feet) Bulls Necklace (Neck) Rose Grip (Grip) Patrons Ring (Ring) Sturm's Report (Ammo) ..............There's only 3 more Allied Note items left that I am working on. The next Item Sonias Plectrum +1% Waltz (10% in Campaigne) is gonna be sweet for my Soboro SAM/DNC. Here's a list of those 3 Items: Sonias Plectrum (Ammo) Crimson Belt (Waist) Cougar Pendant (Neck) Maps: ...............Rancor Map..... Mine! WOOOOOOT! Wings of the Goddess Missions: ................I went and Solo'd the Sandy[S] Missions 4-7 and left off at the NM Dragon Battle. I think this weekend I will Duo it with a friend or Trio it so I can dwelve further into story. I know I am way behind on the WotG Expansion but this is the only Expansion left for me unfinished. Even the 3 Mini-Expansions are completed. I can definetly see myself completing the other 2 Nations story lines at some point and I guess I could always go back to do the Original FFXI Missions for Sandy and Windy. Moon Gate Pass: ................During the past week I decided I should get a Moon Pass Key Item. Not that I needed it, but hey I am a completionist and you never know one day it may come in handy. Especially now that there's a new Statue NM back there and a new Pot NM too. ................Well anyway, yesterday in the Obsidian LinkShell, Ryasha was explaining to Eohuo on how to obtain a Moon Gate Pass. This in turn reminded me to go and get it. Unfortunetly Ryasha (who Zoned in after me) was gunning for it too but there was only enough time for one of us to get it before Dynamis started. so..... ~BAM Moon Gate Pass...... Mine! ....... and the very next day I made sure I helped both Eohuo and Ryasha get theirs too. ..... and now.....girls bouncing on trampolins.... just kidding..... Campaigne Gear: ..............Well.... I finally aquired a Iron Ram Hauberk which completes my Iron Ram Set. Originaly I was under the impression that every piece after the first initial piece granted a +5 on all Elemental Resists. In Theory this would give the set a grand total of +20. That however is incorrect. Here is the correct information after I tested it. Instead of just eye fucking it: 1 pc = +0 all Elemental Resists 2 pcs = +5 all Elemental Resists 3 pcs = +10 all Elemental Resists 4 pcs = +15 all Elemental Resists 5 pcs = +30 all Elemental Resists ..............Now that I got that out of the way. The next two items that I will be slaving away Allied Notes on will be a Bull Necklace and that Waltz Potency Ammo Item for my SAM/DNC. Campaigne Stories: (The SMN Erase Spell) ...............While doing a Campaigne in Jugner Forest[s] the other day I kept getting my DrainSpikes Over Written by someones Shiva Avator with Ice Spikes. This got real annoying really quick, because I was Tanking mobs as DRK/SAM and I heavily rely on juggling all my Job Abilities and Spells. To try and prevent this from happening again I moved to multiple different spots, fighting different Mobs. You would think that would have worked but.... F-A-I-L ...it was like the SMN was on /follow or someth'n... ...so everytime I casted DrainSpikes .... ~BAM ...it got changed to Ice Spikes a second later. I actually do believe this was unintentional but maybe SE should change the Game Mechanics on this. Campaigne Stories: (Fairy GodMother) ................Another time EternalPain and I were Campaigning and I pulled an Orc. Well, I say 1 Orc but it split into two. Ooops thought it was 1 Mob. Well anyway while EternalPain was Nuking away..... he left me to hang as my HP was dropping into the red. Luckily there was a Pixie floating near by. I managed to suck off like 5 or 6 Cure IV's/V's in a row by running in and out of the Pixie's range everytime I needed a Cure. We ended up killing both Orcs easily while laughing our ass's off. Gotta love them Pixies! Campaigne Stories: (HP PingPong) .................Then last night. I was fighting DeathLord Rojgnoj and I had DreadSpikes up. At that moment DeathLord used his DRK 2-Hour BloodWeapon and hit me for 843 Damage and from that he gained 843 HP back. In return my DrainSpikes stole back 776 HP from that. It was like we were playing HP PingPong. It was so cool I had to go back to reread my Chat Log to double check that thats exactly what happened. Mini-Expansions: ..............I helped Calix do one of the Shantollo Missions and netted myself a level-60 Bomb Key and what did it get me? a Steel Ignot.... >< F-A-I-L ! Salvage: .............While doing some Boss runs for EternalPain's and Psi's new 35s I got a Tsukikazu Jinpachi (Lvl-25) and a Tsukikazu Togi (Lvl-25). This leaves me with only 3 items left to Lot. After that there's nothing else in Salvage I could use. These items of coarse are all Usu: Head-35 Body-35 Body-15 This doesn't mean that I won't be doing to Salvage anymore. I will infact be doing Salvage with RemnantBrave untill the Game ends. Besides that just means I need to get RNG to 75 for Skadi alot faster (already have 3 Levl-25 Pcs). LMAO! Merits: .............I now have capped Angon and RageDragon asked me what the Cap'd Duration was. I tested it. It lasts 90 Seconds Fully Merited. Thats 30 Secs for the 1st Initial Merit and an Extra 15 Secs for every Merit after that. .............Only 47 Merits left to go and then I will be Completely Merit Capped on all 4 of my 75 Jobs! Einherjar: ............Well another E-Body-less Valgrind Run....Yet somehow I still managed to snag an E-Legs Abjuration and a Valhalla Helm. Valhalla Helm: Def+40 HP+30 VIT+4 Damage Taken -5% Slow +5% The Valhalla Helm is cool and will be replacing my Iron Ram Helmet that I use for my WAR and DRKs D.amage M.itigation G.ear Macro Set. I still need an Iron Ram Body (eventually a Valhalla BreastPlate) and a 2nd Earring (not choosen yet) for my D.M.G. Macro Set. Currently at the moment I'm at 42,000/75,000 Allied Notes towards getting it and hopefully I will do enough Campaigne to have it by Sunday night. Dynamis: ..............We had a awesome Dynamis-Valkrum run Sunday netting me some War Relic Feet (4/6 on WAR now) and also the final Key Item that will grant me access to Dynamis-Tav. Mini-Expansions: ..............I tried to help Souel and a few other Obsiodian LinkShell Members on the final Mini-Expansion Moogle BC. We lost when all 3 BLM's got Stun'd on the last Minion Pop because the huge Moogle with the "Belly Button of Doom" moved at the last second. This enabled the Mini's to start casting without getting Sleep'd. Should have won that one but sometimes stuff just happens. I also did a few other Key Runs and snagged a few NMs in the process...... netting me a Tortuiose Shield for my Level-29 SCH and a Dryad Staff for SuperGirl's WHM. Salvage: .............Congrats to Eternalpain for finally geting those BLM Salvage 35 Legs to drop on Thursday! Now get back out to Halvung and /pick.. /pick... /pick! X-Knife BC: ............Last week a Y's Scythe finally dropped for our ENM Static and it went to me! We have been doing this run every Saturday for almost a year now and the only other 2 drops were X-Knifes. Then guess what. This week another one drops. Grats to Mav on the 2nd one! ............Algeron asked me what a Y's Scythe was. I basically told him it's when a Dark Staff and a generic Scythe copulate and they have a baby. ~Nuf Said Bub KS-99: ............I did a run with a Pick-Up Group the other day. I know. I know.... no need to say it..... ..... /shudder ......... /fear ............ /panic motion ....but the group went 4 out of 5 on the wins and my Orb netted me me about 400K. Like any large pick up group it didn't last and some people didn't get their chance to use their own Orb. I fiqured if we did lose on my Orb it was alot better then the -1 Space in my Mog House for the past 2 years. Blitz Ring: ............Can I have one? Can I weally???? Weally Weally??? After all it's why I selected the ACC+7 and Haste+3 Stats on my Blitz Pants. Theres been absolutely none in the AH since 11/23/09. I have been scanning Bazars every where. When suddenly I found one. A Player named Rails had it listed in his/her Bazaar for 800K + the 80K Tax. Fate would have it that as I waited for some of my shit to sell in the AH........he freak'n Logged Off. The very next morning I did a /sea all Rails and he was online. So I zoned into the other side of Whitegate when out of no where.... ~BAM .....BESEIGED! Son of a Bitch...... ...........Last Wednsday I aquired the Key-Item from the Obsidian LinkShell Dynamis-Quifim win. I also got my 1st DRG Relic AF Gear (Hands) and an Abyss Cape. The Abyss Cape is one hell of a DRK Cape which is good for a variety of different Builds.

Enfeeble Blindness Kit and Shantollo:

...........Finally after 6 tries I managed to make an Enfeeble Blindness Kit and moved on thru the rest of the Mini-Expansion's retardedly redundent "Time Sinks". I had to do every Mission at least twice but eventually I made it to the final BC. It took our team about five tries to get the win but Shantollo was destined to go down. Our team consisted of Qtip, Kay, Gaw, Cealy, Lect, and me (that's 2 Relic weapons and a Bahumut Scythe there bishes).

...........I am like 99% sure everyone else on the server will be using the cheap SMN Burn Strategy..... /cough the path of least resistance. However players will find the ending much more rewarding, by earning it thru frustration and hardship instead of just gunning for a Leech spot just to get the Reward Item ("take it in the ass like a real man baby".....fake quote by Lect).

............All in all it took me 7 days to blow thru the entire Mini-Expansion. I did miss a full weeks Runs of Salvage but my friends understand. I offer my help and I wouldn't mind netting some more Keys in the process. One of the Keys Gaw had gave him a MAB+2/Conserve MP+2 Earring (basicaly a Crapaud Earring+1)..... meanwhile Qtip got with the same Key a Hi-Ether+1 (basically a turd+1).

as for Augments....... ............I ended up choosing the Haste+3 and ACC+7. This is so I can use a Blitz Ring instead of a ACC Ring in my TP-Build. Here's a look at the MAIN difference that conserns me in the trade off:

-1.6 ACC (loss)

+1 Haste (gain)

Unfortunetly the Blitz Rings have doubled in price in the AH (600K Gilz now) and I'm a broke ass DRK with 7K worth of Gilz in my pocket....... so I will have to wait.

Merits:

Merits: ......Finally SAM is fully Merited. Woooooot! That makes three jobs (DRK, WAR, SAM) Merit Capped and out of the way. I can now focus on DRG Tier 1+2 Merits then finish leveling PLD to 75. Merits are now currently at 397/468 untill I get another 75 Job. ......I can honestly say that the last 100+ Merits were strictly from FOV and Campaigne. No Greater Colbri's were harmed in the making of those Merits. ......I also capped Parrying for DRK. TOAH Kings: .......Just the other day Qtipus was gauge'n the Obsidian LinkShell to see who is interested in doing the TOAH Kings for the Titles. This is good news to me because I need those Titles for the Mystic Weapon Quest. Specifically the Scythe. Evolith: .........Evolith......so where did SE create this name from? Evolution + Monolith? Synergy: .........Synergy......6 players creating something while surounding a dumb ass furnace.....kind of like 6 witches creating a bubbling brew while surounding a black cauldron. Maybe we can make Ruby Slippers+1. I don't know. I hope this doesn't mean I need to level a Craft. Scythe True 5-Hit Build (20TP per Swing)

........After having a chat with my friend Ravax I realized that I can now pull off a True 5-hit Build with my Vendetta Scythe (or any other 528 Delay Scythe). Last time I tried this I was using the Death Scythe+1 (513 Delay) and also had no access to the Rose Strap (Store-TP +4). At that time the Rose Strap wasn't introduced into the Game yet. The Idea behind any X-Hit Build is simple...... maintain good Accuracy and Haste while aquiring enough Store-TP to create one less Attack Round in order to WeaponSkill more frequently. To get the 5-Hit Build as a Drk with a Scythe you need a 528 Delay Weapon, Sub /Sam, and aquire Store-Tp +24 from Food and Gear. Here's my current 5-Hit TP Build: FOOD Carbanara (Store-Tp+6) HEAD "Walmart" Turban NECK Chiv. Chain (Store-Tp+1) BACK Bushido Cape (Store-Tp+1) GRIP Rose Strap (Store-Tp+4)T HROW Fire Bomblet HANDS Homam BODY Askar Korazin (Store-Tp+5) LEGS Homam FEET Homam WAIST Swift Belt EAR1 Brutal Earring (Store-Tp+1) EAR2 Abyssal Earring RING1 Ecohoria Ring (Store-Tp+1) RING2 Rajas (Store-Tp+5) ..........I am also looking to improve this Build by aquiring a Justice Torque, White Tahlum, Abyss Cape, and those new Mini-Expansion Legs (STR+2, VIT+2, Haste+3%, ACC+7). New Mini-Expansion Augment Builds: .........The following are the Augments that I favor the most based on the fact that I already have Crimson, Byakko, Homam, Ares, Usu, AF+1, Relic, and the Iron Allied Notes Legs. I was at first let down by the Augments, but now I am having trouble deciding which one I want! LMAO! 1) STR+2 and VIT+2 HP+25, Emnity+4, Physical Damage Taken-4% (PLD for Tanking, Physical Damage Mitigation Build) 2) STR+2 and VIT+2 Haste+3%, ACC+7 (DRK,DRG for TP-Build) 3) STR+2 and VIT+2 Double Attack+2%, Critical Hit Damage+3% (DRG Multi-Hit Critical Hit Modifier Weapon Skill Build) 4) STR+2 and VIT+2 Haste+3%, M.Acc+4 (DRK for Enfeebling Build) 5) STR+2 and VIT+2 Haste+3%, Physical Damage Taken-4% (PLD,DRK,DRG,WAR,SAM for Campaigne Build and Physical Damage Mitigation Build) 6) STR+2 and VIT+2 Skill Chain Damage+5%, Conserve TP+5 (SAM for Skill Chaining Weapon Skill Build) Einherjar: ........Saturday was our Odin#15 Run with the Obsidian LinkShell. After we kicked Odin's ass we pry'd open the Chest and got full drops. Of the 5 drops.......... Rud completed an A.Abjuration Set, I got a P.Abjuration Head, and Rif finally got his E.Abjuration Body. This puts me at 2/5 Shadow Abjurations and also next inline for an E-body drop (I based this on job/points at this time). I also traded in my 100,000 Ampoules for the Balrahn EyePatch Item towards my Scythe Mystic Weapon Quest. Since I can't start the Quest untill I get my last 8 Assaults done it has become a Inventory Slot -1 Item. Also congrats to PoppisGirl for finally getting her 30,000/30,000 Alex requirement. Campaigne: ........I was doing a Campaigne in Batilla Downs[S] the other day and Zoned into the Area while the Beastman had control over it. At that time the Campaigne Music kicked in and there was only 2 other people in the entire Area. One player in particular was a RDM/WHM named Lolietta, a Japanese TaruTaru. ........The first incersion was done by Lolietta. Lolietta pulled a Mob while the other player and I began to attack it. Immediately the RDM/WHM Disengaged and did a /Say in Japanese Text. I had no clue what it meant but I am guessing Lolietta wanted her (or his) own Mob. So lil' Lolieta pulled another Mob. At the same time the other player (PUP) switched off to the new Mob too. This left me alone with the first Mob. No biggie. I can Solo it as DRK/SAM even with out a BodyBoost or any other Temp Items. If the shit hits the fan I can just Sleep it. The Mob was an Orc. A BLM Orc to be more precise, so Guilotine would be the Weapon Skill of choice because of it's Additional Effect of Silence. ....... Anyway back to the Battle..... so I got the BLM Orc's HP down to about 20% and decided to Sleep it to buy me some time to get my Drain Spikes Timer back up. As I Sleep'd the Mob something happened. It started hitting me again from what looked like it getting Dia'd? At this point things were getting rough. I needed to contrentrate on surviving the Battle and couldn't check the Chat Log to see if someone Dia'd it. A few moments later I use SleepII. There it is again!!! ......but this time it was Bio not Dia.... no need for me to read the Log to confirm what a Bio animation looks like. By this time I was down to maybe 126 HP and I switched to my Crimson Legs to get the hell out of there! .....but I didn't go far. The Orc's Drown Effect did me in. Now I was pissed! I go back and check the Log. Sure enough the culprit was the RDM/WHM named Lolietta who was fighting a different Mob. Now ....I do not let people have the control of making me angry.... So instead of being angry I Home Pointed and took a small break from the game to cool off. Then I added Lolietta to my Blist. /em attains #100 Blist Key Item LOLietta. ........In conclusion...Yea you got me LOLietta. You got me good. You only casted Dia and Bio on the Mob that I was fighting when I Sleep'd it. Theres only 1 reason why you did that.....but guess what? I have that spell Bio to. Just remember the taste in your mouth because when I get the chance I'm gonna bitch slap it out. The only difference is that when I do get around to returning the favor. I will also be there serving you a big ole' Bag of Tea..... and getting my Screen Shot Trophy. ...... Well Am I mad anymore?.... nope..... ........I am happy. ;) ............I just hope LOLietta likes Tea. ~BAM

Einherjar: ...........Between my Modem/Internet Connection crapping out on me one hour before our last Odin Run, people with specificly needed Jobs being short on Feathers, and a Mule issue.... I somehow have accumilated all 9 of the Einherjar Feathers. Thus giving me the Mark of Odin Key Item. From what I understand this gives me the ability to select any room for entry in Einherjar. What about the postponed Odin Runs? While it does sucks to have these few setbacks. It potentially sets us up for the next 3-4 Odins at a pace of every 4th or 5th Run. On top of that I should be able to get my Balhrans EyePatch within the next run or two. Hey Odin where's our E-Bodies? Nyzul Isle: ............In the past 2 weeks our Nyzul Isle Static has been cancelled due to peoples unavailability. This week we did the 40, 60, and 100 Boss Runs with only 5 people. While we did win all 3 netting 2 gear drops...... everyone already had this shit. It went to me via free lot. The drops were Denali Wristbands and a Denali Bonnet and I can't even wear them. It started out smoothly with Guilotine and Drain Spikes removing about 50% of it's HP but it's Additional Effect Petrify freak'n killed me. It just took 1 hit from the NM and I was Petrified as it hit me 26 times in a row. Ummm... yeah.... stay tuned... I will be working on this one. KS-30: .............Yup I was being lazy again. I did a Run with the BLM KS30 group which was lead by my friend Pixe. Woooooot! I made 190K from a Venomous Claw drop. Nice...... because once again..... I am a broke ass DRK. F.O.V.: .............I really hate it when your about to pull a mob and someone deliberatly sees you, but runs up behind you and pulls it anyway. I know sometimes it happens accidentaly but some people just don't give a shit (like a PLD/DNC pulling mobs miles away to Solo while people have to wait an extra 20 minutes at the end of a Campaigne). Thus the player "WEE" gets my Blogs "DoucheBagery of the Week" Award for doing this on purpose. What are we camping HNMs or something. ............Since we are on the subject of DoucheBagery. There was this Drg/Whm who thought it was O.K to try and Diaga one of the Rabbits that I was fighting in F.O.V. ! Did he think I needed help on 2 EasyPrey Rabbits? First of all they Link. Second of all they die in like 3 seconds. Good thing Drain Spikes put me higher on the hate list then his measly weasily itty bitty Diaga Spell. I will be doing this to give some insight on these NM's to assist anyone Pop'n them for the first time. Jess's DRK Elite Training NM Guide #1: NM......................................Ruebezahl NM Type............................Lvl-60 Elite TrainingPop Item.....Chapter 5 Page Area.....................................Sanctuary Of Zi'tah ..........O.k. I Pop'd this NM 3 times and on the 1st battle I counted it had 9 Shadows. This NM is a Stone Golem so Arcane Killer is in effect. Here is the Strategy. 1) Meditate 2) Hasso 3) Drain Spikes 4) Pop NM 5) Poisnga (gets rid of all 9 of the NMs shadows) 6) Arcane Circle 7) Weapon Skill 8) Meditate 9) Weapon Skill 10) Collect your item from the chest then toss it because it's junk.... This NM has a few different types of Additional Effects when it hits you. It always does one type but never more then one type during the same fight. So far I encountered a Physical Damage Additional Effect, MP Drain, Absorbed-TP Additional Effect, and one that gives Curse (and it may have others). No sense using a Holy Potion because he will just hit you again and reCurse you. The Curse drop'd my HP's from 1580 to 699. Worst case scenario you still have Third Eye/Seigen, Drain1, Drain2. Weapon Bash, and Stun at your disposal but don't let me scare you. There really is no need to use any of that stuff. Just serve him a nice cup of Teabag. /Random Shit: .........Lets see here...I snag'd 2 more Merits doing random shit. My Ampoules are now at 95,780/100,000 towards the Balrahn's EyePatch. I also equiped all my Enfeebling Gear and changed Subs to DRK75/SCH29 to see what my Enfeebling Skill would be. It was 299. I really need to finish that Sub LMAO. RNG, BST, SMN Job Adjustments/updates: .........Looks like the Rangers are getting a little too moist in there stockings..... but then ...SE pulls the dick tease move, by with holding the damn BST and SMN info. Dam Bastard Swords. Anyway...lets speculate. .........Everyone knows this has to be the big new Avatar Update that the SMN's have been waiting years for (AKA a long ass time). The big question is...... what new Avatars will they give us. I personaly want to see a big freak'n Cactuar with a 1,000,000 Needles move.... called "The Big Prick" . The second Avatar will most likely be something fruity like a Unicorn or someth'n. I really can't see them releasing Odin, Alexander, Pheonix, or Bahamut because they are the main NPC's in the FFXI's story lines. Unless of coarse....... they plan on releasing them all. Mwhahhahaha .....Ya never know. .........As far as the BST Adjustment goes I have a few ideas of my own. I think a BST should be able to Delink Mobs. ............OK just a random post here. I just got an Abyss Burgeonet and Sturm's Report. Which is nice. Complete's my Drk Relic Gear and allows me to sell my Phantom Tathlum for 50k. Also got another Merit which leaves me at 19 Merits till SAM cap and raised my Meditate Recast to 4. I am also now at 91,940/100,000 towards the EyePatch key item. .............Hmmmm... I'm now at full sets for Homam, Ares, AF+1, and Relic. Not bad at all. I am also currently working on Crimson (4/5), Askar (3/5), Relic+1(0/5), and Drg AF+1(4/5) + Sam Af+1(3/5) full sets. Other items that I am working on are E-Body, Abyss Cape, Usu(2/5), and an Augmented Death Scythe. .........To me....Dynamisis is the most painful EndGame Event there is. I mean it's a 4 hour straight block of time with no breaks at all. Thats a freak'n half of a work day right there. The worst part is the Lag and watching the Chat Menu zip bye at a million miles a second. That shit burns my eyes out. I actually began Dynamisis with a LinkShell named GateWay Shuffle like 5 years or more so ago. Once I got a taste of that shit... I avoided it like BadBreath from a Marlboro. .........Most recently I have re-engaged Dynamisis with the LinkShell Obsidian and I am actually starting to enjoy it. Matter of fact, last nights run Dynamisis Bastok kicked some ass. I made about 600k from 2 Wootz Ore drops (more then 15 dropped in total... crazy shit) and also got 2 Relic AF. Both Relics I actually needed. The Saotome Kote drop was specifically for my SAM's Meditate Job Ability. Now I can get atleast 140 TP from every Meditate. I fixed my Meditate Macro immediately.... which now looks like this. /Equip Head "Myochin Kabuto +1" /Equip Hands "Saotome Kote" /Ja "Meditate" /Wait 2 /Equip Head "Walarahn Turbahn" /Equip Hands "Askar Manoplas" The other Relic was the Abyss Sollerets for my DRK. I needed this for my Enfeebling build specifically. Now I have a 268 Enfeebling Macro Build with +7 M.ACC. Let me break it down for you here. Current Drk Enfeebling Macro Build: Enfeebling Skill..........+225 Enfeebling Skill Merits...+16 Crimson Mask..............+10 Enfeebling Torque.........+7 Choas Cuirass +1..........+5 Abyss Sollerets...........+5 Omega Ring..........(+3 M.ACC) Balurhns Ring.......(+4 M.Acc) ..........Most people don't realize that DRK has the same Enfeebling Skill that WHM has. Way before Scholar came out the Enfeebling Skill job tier looked like this (this is skill at cap only, not Merits and not Gear): RDM 276 Skill BLM 230 Skill WHM 225 Skill DRK 225 Skill ..........From here I only a few peices left to cap my build. One which is an Enfeebling Earring (+3 Skill) is currently selling for 1.8 Million Gil in the AH. Hey, thats alot to invest for a player who has no Mage jobs at all. My friend LukeBoxWalker thinks I am stupid to even think of getting it for DRK. What can I say I am obssesed but Luke also says "Hey Why settle for 2nd best". Like a smoker telling you to stop smok'n... I tell ya. ;p .........The second Item that I'am missing is the Sturms Report (+2 M.ACC) Ammo item. It is aquired by spending Allied Notes from Campaigne of the WoTG Expansion. I'm actually at 36,000/45,000 towards getting it. Whats really cool about this item is it also can be used for my Dark magic Build. .........Then finally we have the good old shity Back Slot. There is technically 3 choices to choose from here (Sorry about the names I forgot 2 of them): 1) Abyss Cape.........+7 M.ACC (from Dynamisis) 2) ???? Cape..........+5 Skill (from Sea) 3) ???? Cape..........+2 Skill (from Allied Notes) I think I will be aiming for the Abyss Cape. Whats really cool about this item is it also can be used for my my Dark magic Build and my Drk/Sam Guoilitine Weapon Skill Build. To me it is hands down probably the best Dynamisis Accesory period. There is no item in the game that gives you +7 WS ACC, +7 ACC, and +7 M.ACC let alone a measly Cape! .........For me ... the Enfeebling Earring, Storms Report, and Abyss Cape are all within reach. When I am finally done I will end up with an Enfeebling Build that grants my DRK 271 Skill with +16 M.Acc. I want to finish my /SCH too, which is still Level 29. .........It's Saturday Morning and I freak'n love Saturdays. I'm off of work and get to play FFXI all day. I wake up early and get online. First thing I do is get my Key Item Letter for the X-Knife Battle. The 2nd thing I do is climb the dumb ass mountain and get another Key Item called the Miasma Filter for the Hagun Battle. On top of that I have a great Saturday schedule... 1) Get ENM key items 2) Einherjar 3) X-Kife run 4) Hagun run 5) Sky Augment NM 6) Campaigne 7) Salvage (x2) ...and today is an extra special Saturday because today we have a Odin Battle set up in Einherjar. ...and then .......and then ............and then ....my modem died. I tried an old Verizon ISP Modem but I needed a PC to log onto Verizons server with my Verizon Name and password. Unfortunetly my ex-girlfriend used it last I think and it is now missing. .......As the Clock Tower in Upper Juno ticks another notch closer to the end of FFXI.... I have made a decision to disembark from the Versus LinkShell. I am now adrift in open ended waters with no compass in which to gauge my direction. I just wanted to give some thanks to all my friends in Versus. Thanks for all the good times that we enjoyed together and thanks for putting up with my shit for so long. I have made this decision for a variety of reasons but rest assured everything is ok. I am not quiting FFXI and yes I am still your good friend. /em looks through his scribbled notes for the next topic... .......Lately I ventured into the realm of Dancer. I Solo'd it to 37 because I wanted it as a Sub Job for my 75 SAM and up coming PLD. This was the 1st job that I stricktly relied on Solo'ng through FOV. At first I was like "It's a LOL /Fruity job" , but now I can honestly say that Sub'ng DNC is some seriuosly shit! I mean just in Campaigne alone.... it's freak'n nuts. Picture it this way.... SAM + /DNC + RoseStrap(for 5 hit) + 18% HasteGear + Soboro = BOOBIES! If you don't beleive me I will gladely show you in Campaigne. No. I didn't mean that I will show u my man boobs... I meant that I will show you how awesome SAM/DNC can be! ........Speaking about Campaigne. I have now reached the top rank, StarLight Medal II. This is of course after losing 2 consecutive Medals in a row. I now have access to the top tier items and have already earned the Mini-Me-Defender Ring and Rose Strap Grip. I can see Campaigne will be on my plate for awhile since I still require alot more of the new Allied Note items. This will also get me those last few Merits. I am now at 23 Merits from caping SAM and then SAM will become my 3rd Merit capped job. After that I still need to finish my SCH Sub which is still at Level-29. Then I need to get PLD and RNG to 75. These will be the last jobs that I will be leveling..... period. ........Finally I will be picking up Dynamisis again with the Obsidian LinkShell...so this will be my new Event line up: Mon.....Salvage (x1 or2) Tue.....Einherjar, Nyzul Isle (x3) Wed.....Dynamisis Thur....Salvage (x1 or2) Fri.....open Sat.....Einherjar, ENM Static, Salvage (x1 or2) Sun.....Dynamisis ........Other then that.... my 8 year old son's Soccer season has started which means a few days a week I won't be getting online untill much later. The other issue I have is my Nyzul Isle Static still intends to do runs. This means I can't make all 6 Salvage runs like I wanted too. (it's own set bonus's) ...........I surveyed a few WARs on the matter of which Ring would be better suited for TP and WS builds. Not one person choose the Headsman Ring. I mean no one at all! This was also the case when I wanted to lot it. I was the only one wanting to lot it! LMAO! I mean I do understand where everyone is coming from .... the ACC in Snipers ..... the STR in the Flames ..... well I say "Fuk Joo Meng"! I'm gonna use it! (Yes I use those same calculations too...so don't ruin my Rant). SE has their collective assholes so tight you couldn't squeeze the Hidden Effect out of a Millionare's Desk. Yes SE stores desks up there Ass's. I mean....Where else are they gonna do their paperwork. "Ba dum dump crash"... We went 3/3 on this fight and If you remember a few Blog Posts ago I had a Theory about this Earring. Well I actually got to test it last night. I tried doubleling the Set Bonus's by equiping the Sword, Dagger, And Earring as DRK/NIN but it didn't work. I then tried equiping the Ranged Weapon, Dagger, and Earring on SAM but that didn't work either. So my Theory that these sets are like the Allied Note Gear Sets ..... is Busted. It is still note worthy that if you equip both weapons you can get the set bonus's without the Earring. Also as SAM I can now equip the Paramount Earring, the Ranged Weapon, the Great Katana, and the Supremecy Earring and get both Bonus's from both Earrings. How cool is that! ..........Stop laughing at me.....you cookie cutter gear wearing bastards. ..............as always see ya Online! ~BAM

Howdy .....I am currently testing creating a Blog post on my new DSI. I can not update the side scrolls because it runs out of it's memory. This is rather tedious with the stylus but it is only a test. For now I will just Blog about my latest game progression. ..........The past week I have aquired a Headsman Ring and a Crimson Mask. I am happy to say that my DRK's Enfeebling Build is now at a 263 Skill. With 4 more items it can reach 278. Anyway that is it for this test. ...........It was July 26th. It was Sunday and it was my birthday. Most of the day, it suxed ass and Mav never sent me the Canadian Pizza he promised. Are all Canadian's cheap like that? Just Kidding! Good thing my real life best friend EternalPain saved the day! He went to the AH and and totaly hooked me up with a Thallascrat and a pair of Dusk Feet. The Dusk Feet I needed for my WAR's TP set up but it looks like ass compared to the rest of my gear. I guess not as bad as the other WAR's running around in Aurum Boots. The Thallacrat I needed for my DRG. Seeing that I already have the Supremecy Earring I decided to sell the Thallacrat and upgrade it to the SkyRider. Don't worry good ole' Eternalpain won't mind a bit because his Gil went to the same type of item anyway. Wooooooot thanks for the gifts! ..........On Tuesday, at the end of the Obsidian's Einherjar's Odin run... I think Mav shit himself! We got our 1st E-body drop ever! Congrats Mav and change those skid marked Byakko undies they stink! This means Rif moves up to the #1 E-Body points spot and me up to #2. My friend Izman is also shooting for a Adaman Hauberk. Hope it starts raining E-Bodies. ;p ..........Meanwhile....in the RemnantBrave LinkShell ..... I keep missing Salvage runs and it is starting to piss me off. It's always something like this: 1) Jess falls asleep 2) LinkShell Versus events are at the same time 3) My internet goes haywire and DC's me like crazy (always when it's raining, June+July was 2nd wettest in N.J. records ) 4) X-Box dies (on 3rd X-Box now ) 5) SE screws my Account to log on (read BG Forums this has been happening alot ) 6) I have to redownload FFXI again Yes you name it it... it happens. Thankfully Rav and Mav are very smooth about it. I did however manage to get more Gilz from selling my Death Scythe+1 at 1.9 Mil and another 1.1 Mil from "Team Splitting Heirs" runs that we did a few weeks back. This allowed me to finaly get a stack of BloodLumber and get my Usu Hands made. ............Moving right along..... "Team MR.J" (Mav, Ravax, & Jess) beat the new Moogly Mini-Expansion by the 6th day after it's Monday release. We pretty much did 90% of it in 1 day. This netted me my Champion's Galea (HP+5, Counter+3, STR+4, AGI+4, WSACC+15, WSDMG+2%). I may redo the last fight to change the AGI+4/WSDMG+2% into ACC+10/ATK+5. This is actually replaceing my WS head gear for DRK/SAM. I was originally gonna just keep this only for Multi-Hit Weapon Skills but I changed my mind. I used four of my 7 unused Merits to raise my SAM's Store-TP to level 4. I also did some Augmented Fea Weapon Battles with.... 3 losses and 1 win. I kept the Scythe but it was just really junk. I will try for a far better one another day. Congrats to Ravax on full Usu! SET BONUS's: ............Within the past two to three years SE has been releasing gear and weapons that grant bonuses by equiping multiple pieces in form of sets. I have noticed that there are generaly 2 types of sets. One of these types will NOT grant the set bonuses unless you have all of the set pieces equiped at the same time. A good example of this would be the 5 piece Salvage gear sets. The other type is a little different. It accumilates the set bonuses for every additional piece you equip beyond the first initial piece. A good example of this would be the Allied Note sets. What I want to know is where do the Past SCNM sets fit in? Does it really matter because these particular sets are made up of only 1 weapon and 1 earring. Excuse me..... all this thinking is killing my buzz..... ZZZzzzzzzzzZZzzz /em passes out with a screwdriver in his hand. ..............The very next day I left for work (Working on Sunday sucks BTW) and Once there I used a Sneak Oil so I can quitely boot up the work computer and jump online. At first I trolled the FFXI BG Forums and then clicked onto the FFXI Wiki website. As I began to meander off thru the information super highway I started to look at the other SCNM earrings and weapons. It was then that I saw a little tiny notation that RNG's and SAM's who have equiped both the Amanokakoyomi(Bow) and the Farseer(Dagger) without the Paramount Earring were still receiving the set bonuses. Could this be an unintended effect by SE.... or could it be that they designed it that way? Could this mean it is possible to equip both the weapons plus the earring and double the bonuses. This Excited me. So... I looked at all the other combonations and noticed that a PLD and DRK can do something similar. Theoriticaly if a PLD/NIN or DRK/NIN equips the Sinfender(Sword), FARSEER(Dagger), and the Paramount Earring....they should get HP+30, VIT+6, ACC+???, and RACC+??? ....times 2. I would like to test this theory out for myself but if anyone else who can confirm please leave a comment on my Blog Post. Thanky. ................Back to the Supremecy Earring. Yes aparently I have misinformed you guys. Sorry about that it was purely unintentional and thanks Tikki for the correction. The correct Supremecy Earring Stats according to FFXI Wiki are: +6 STR +8 1/2 ATK (4ATK from base rest from the STR) +4 RATK +2 MAB

..............yea so basically, if you have been keeping up with my Blog posts, you may have noticed there has been way to many issues lately. Can't a guy just freak'n relax and play FFXI while drinking his Screwdrivers? Well anyway, Last nights issue all began when I implanted the Removable HardDrive from my Broken X-Box into my new shiney one. This should be Easy right? So I'm gonna use my Staples Easy Button. /em presses the easy button. I log into X-Box live and watch POL load up.....and then....... I watch POL shut down. A message then appears on the screen that I need to reInstall POL because there is a error in the last download and that it cannot be repaired. /em presses the easy button.....again... 4 minutes later it is completed and I restart the X-Box. Now X-Box is telling me I need a update for X-Box Live. So...I update X-Box Live. /em slams the easy button with his fist and says "Work you Fucker" 5 more minutes goes bye.....I reboot my X-Box, sign into X-Box Live, and jump onto POL. Now POL needs a update. /em waits a second then slams the easy button harder and lets out a huge fart because he ate a whole can of beans the night before. 6 more minutes goes bye......I reboot my X-Box, sign into X-Box Live, jump into POL, immediately resolve a issue with linking the X-Box Live account and my POL Account and then.......... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! A message appears on the screen that I need to reInstall FFXI because there is a error in the last download and it cannot be repaired. /em hurls the easy button against the wall... creating a sonic boom in it's wake and in slow motion the easy button shatters into a million peices. 480 minutes more later (that's 8 more hours)..... of checking files, downloading files, installing files, and then doing it again for every patch there ever was in the past 7 years for every expansion...... I finally get a feeling of relief knowing it is ALL finally done. /em logs onto his character and realizes that there are no Macros at all and that his maps have no markings. /em turns of his X-Box. Now you finally know why that when I created this Blog ...I named it "You Can Not Play FFXI" .... -Nuff said BUB!
